Roger Brunelle New Director of IT Enterprise Architecture
Brunelle is responsible for application development, networking and telecommunications, and computer operations.

Roger Brunelle, the new Director of Information Technology Enterprise Architecture at College of DuPage, understands the importance of monitoring the ever-changing technology landscape.
In this newly created position, Brunelle is responsible for application development, networking and telecommunications, and computer operations. He will oversee large-scale design and solution sets across the College, focusing on strategy and application.
“On the application architecture side, our goal is to implement and enhance our enterprise systems to ensure College of DuPage is well positioned for the future,” he said. “In the networking and operational areas, our focus will be on implementing and managing state-of-the-art systems and solutions along with best practices to provide access to and maintain the security of our College’s data information assets.”

Brunelle has spent his entire career in IT, both in the private sector and education. His experience includes vice president of IT at the Nielsen Corporation, director of IT at Nalco and, most recently, CIO at Naperville Community Unit School District 203.
Vice President of Planning, Performance and Technology Keith Tyrka views Brunelle’s experience as an asset to the team’s strategic initiatives.

“Roger’s extensive background in IT and collaborative mindset position him as an ideal leader for the department, enhancing our partnership efforts within the College,” he said.
Brunelle said IT is about how the technology fits into the environment where it’s used.
“When I moved from the corporate sector to education, I found that the work was highly significant, rewarding and impactful,” he said. “Our work in technology is not about products. It’s really all about human beings and enabling student success with the aid of technologies. I am excited about joining the College of DuPage family.”
