Savers Donation Drive for Special Olympics Illinois Dec. 15-17

Special Olympics Illinois wants you to lose some pounds this December by donating clothing, shoes, linens, jewelry and accessories with Savers Thrift Stores. Clear out the old and get ready for the new year by bagging up the things you no longer use. Savers will be on site to collect your bags, and a tax receipt will be provided. When we’re done, Savers weighs it out and donates back to Special Olympics Illinois. The more pounds you lose, the more Special Olympics Illinois gains!

If 400 bags of items (using an average kitchen trash bag) are collected, Special Olympics Illinois will earn approximately $1,000.

A Savers Truck will be parked at 500 Waters Edge Lane in Lombard from December 15 through the 17 to collect bags for donations. Special Olympics Illinois Staff and Volunteers will be on site from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to collect the bags.
