Sleep Out Saturday: You Can Still Help

Support volunteers and homeless families that benefit from Bridge Communities transitional housing program

On Saturday, November 4, hundreds across Chicagoland took action against the growing family homelessness crisis by sleeping outside in boxes, cars, and tents, and fundraising to help house homeless families working toward self-sufficiency. Though the event is over for this year, you still have time to support the Sleep Out Saturday volunteers and the families that benefit from Bridge Communities transitional housing program. Join the movement today at www.sleepoutsaturday.org to donate and help the more than one hundred homeless families that find new hope in the program each year.

During the 2016-2017 school year, there were 1,794 homeless children educated in DuPage County schools. The traumas of family homelessness can cause harm and cause many problems for children, as they deal with hunger, uncertainty, and difficulty staying on track in school. But you have the power to change their lives for the better.

Experience the movement that is changing the lives of homeless families. Donate by visiting www.sleepoutsaturday.org.
