AAUW (the American Association of University Women) has been empowering women since 1881. The AAUW Wheaton-Glen Ellyn Branch, which was founded in 1956, supports this mission by using Book Sale proceeds to award local scholarships to young women from Glenbard West, Glenbard South, Wheaton North and Wheaton Warrenville South High Schools who will be continuing their education at the College of DuPage.
