Survey: Wheaton Among Happiest Cities in State
Creditdonkey.com found Wheaton to be the sixth happiest places to live in the state.

Wheaton has ranked as one of the happiest places in the state to live.
A recent survey by creditdonkey.com, a credit card comparison and financial education website, found Wheaton to be the sixth happiest community in Illinois.
Creditdonkey.com looked at data from the U.S. Census Bureau and FBI Uniform Crime Reports to collect data on divorce rates, commute times, income, crime rate and more to determine the town’s level of happiness.

Wheaton had the lowest violent crime rate in the creditdonkey.com survey and is one of the safest cities in the state. The odds of being a victim of a violent crime is one in 4,438.6.
The median household income is $86,074 and 21.6 percent of that income is spent on housing -- two other factors that should put a “smile on most peoples’ faces” in Wheaton, according to creditdonkey.

The town that is the happiest in Illinois, according to creditdonkey.com, is Moline. Other towns to make creditmonkey’s list include: Wheaton, Elmhurst, Park Ridge, McHenry and Burbank.
