Taste Of Glen Ellyn Postponed Until August Amid Coronavirus
The Taste of Glen Ellyn was originally set for May 28 through May 30, but has been postponed until August.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — The Taste of Glen Ellyn, originally set for May 28-30, has been postponed due to the ongoing new coronavirus crisis. The three-day event is now rescheduled for Aug. 27-29.
In a post on the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce website, Chamber President Terri Smith-Pfeiffer said the decision to postpone the annual event was made "for the utmost caution of public safety" and "in light of the current conditions with COVID-19."

The Taste of Glen Ellyn is set to be held at the Glenwood/Crescent and McChensey parking lots. As of press time, the festival, which features food, live music, a beer garden and more, will be held Aug. 27 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Aug. 28 from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Aug. 29 from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Smith-Pfeiffer wrote, "We are grateful to all our vendors for their flexibility and understanding. Thank you to all of our members for their continued dedication and support of the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce."
