Thirsty Thursday on the Deck Brings Beer, Wine to Lake Ellyn

An upcoming event gives the 21 and older crowd the chance to sip on beers and wines while enjoying scenic views at the Lake Ellyn Boathouse. Thirsty Thursday on the Deck, an outdoor event, takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on October 3rd.

A selection of fall-inspired craft beers and wines from The Beer Cellar will be available for purchase. Gypsy, an acoustic cover band that performs top hits from the last 40 years, will provide live entertainment. Songs will include “Jessie’s Girl”, “Wagon Wheel”, “Stuck in the Middle”, “Summer of 69”, “Brown-Eyed Girl”, and more, from original artists including the Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, and Bon Jovi.

There will also be a mix of light snacks including hard pretzels, candy, popcorn, and cheeses.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at gepark.org/register, or at the door (cash only) while supplies last. Tickets are $10 for residents ($15 for nonresidents) and include one complimentary drink ticket, courtesy of David Posegay of Urban Real Estate. Dress for the event is informal.
