Thunderstorms Possible This Afternoon, Evening
The storms could produce some hail but are not expected to be severe, weather officials said.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for counties across northeastern Illinois, including Lake, McHenry, Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will.
The threat for severe weather is low though a few storms Wednesday afternoon and evening may produce small hail, according to the National Weather Service.
Thunderstorms are again in the forecast for Thursday afternoon and evening. The severe weather threat for those storms is also low.
Meanwhile, temps could reach into the lower 70s for much of the suburbs on Wednesday. Forecasted highs in the upper 60s are in the works for Thursday.
Mostly sunny skies and temps in the mid- to upper-50s are in the forecast for Friday. Sunny skies and temperatures in the 60s are expected Saturday while it should be even warmer on Sunday with temps reaching into the lower-70s.
