Touch-A-Truck, Live Music, More: Glen Ellyn National Night Out
Head to Newton Park on Aug. 1. for family-friendly fun and a chance to meet local police, firefighters and more.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — Fire trucks, police cars, face painters and more will be on hand at Newton Park for the 2023 National Night Out in Glen Ellyn. The free event, slated for Aug. 1, will bring police officers and community members together for family-friendly fun.
The festivities include:
- Face painting
- Balloon artists
- Live music by Genie B. Duo
- Story time via Glen Ellyn Public Library
- Crafts
Visitors can nosh on complimentary popsicles and fudge bars as they check out utility vehicles and watch demonstrations from firefighters, drone operators and evidence technicians. There will also be an information session about the Glen Ellyn Event Park project.
