Two Injured in 3-Car Crash

A driver and passenger sustained injuries in a three-car crash on Roosevelt Road in Glen Ellyn Monday afternoon, Glen Ellyn Deputy Police Chief Bill Holmer said. 

About 1:30 p.m., a westbound car hit an eastbound car when trying to turn left into McDonald's, 445 Roosevelt Rd. The two cars then hit a third car that had been waiting to pull out of McDonald's, police said. 

One person had to be extricated from the westbound car, police said. The driver of the westbound car was cited with failure to yield and operating an uninsured vehicle.
