Wind Chill Advisory, Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Monday
A snowstorm Monday could bring over two to five inches of snow.

Chicago area residents will get a cold start to the work week.
A wind chill advisory is in effect through noon Monday for counties throughout the Chicago area including, DuPage, McHenry, Kane, Lake, Will and Cook counties. Wind chill values are expected to drop from 15 to 30 below zero.
Meanwhile, a winter weather advisory has been issued for 6 p.m. Monday through 6 a.m. Tuesday. A prior winter storm watch issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday is no longer in effect.

Between two to five inches of snow is now predicted for the area and visibility could be reduced to less than a 1/4-mile at times, according to the National Weather Service.
The dry nature of the snow and increasing winds could cause blowing and drifting snow Tuesday.

The cold is expected to continue Tuesday night through Thursday morning. Wind chill values between 25 below to 35 below zero is expected.
