$1,500 Worth Of Coins Stolen From Store: Glenview Crime Reports

GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department as a record of police activity and includes both incidents reported by the public and arrests made by police. Criminal charges, which are often dropped or reduced, represent merely accusations. Everyone arrested is innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in cour t.

INCIDENTS

THEFT
An employee in the 1800 block of Pickwick Avenue reported at 11:18 a.m. on April 24 that someone ordered $3,900 worth of glass mirrors using a fraudulent credit card.

THEFT
An employee at a store in the 100 block of Waukegan Road reported at 1:31 p.m. on April 24 that someone had twice purchased merchandise with a counterfeit $100 bill for a reported loss of $200.

THEFT
An employee in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 1:27 p.m. on April 24 that someone had left without returning business keys for a reported loss of $500.

STOLEN CAR
An employee in the 1800 block of Waukegan Road reported at 3:17 p.m. on April 24 that someone had rented a white, 2018 Chevrolet Malibu but never returned it. Chicago police reported they found the car in the 2500 block of East 98th Street in Chicago a little over an hour later.

UNWANTED PERSON
An employee of a hotel in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 9:49 p.m. on April 23 that someone had checked out in the morning and returned but would not stop shouting.

THEFT
A resident in the 1500 block of Plymouth Place reported at 10:37 a.m. on April 25 that someone had stolen a welcome mat outside the front door for a loss of $20.

STOLEN CAR
An employee in the 1800 block of Waukegan Road reported at 11 a.m. on April 25 that someone had not returned a rented rented a red, 2018 Kia Sportage for two weeks. The stolen vehicle was found at 12:30 a.m. on May 1 in Blue Island, Riverdale police reported.

UNWANTED PERSON
An employee in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road reported shortly before 8 p.m. on April 25 that someone refused to leave until receiving a prescription that could not be filled.

BATTERY
A resident in the 2500 block of Waterview Drive reported around 9 p.m. on April 25 that someone had grabbed them by the hair.

TRESPASS
An employee in the 2100 block of Pfingsten Road reported at 12:19 p.m. on April 25 that someone was at the business after being told to not return.

RETAIL THEFT
An employee in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported at 5:53 p.m. on April 26 that two women had come in and stole numerous items of clothing from the racks worth $500 and ran out of the store without paying.

RETAIL THEFT
An employee in the 1700 block of Glenview Road reported at 1:38 p.m. on April 27 that someone had entered the store and stole $1,500 worth of coins.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE
A driver in the 4100 block of Willow Road reported at 5:51 p.m. on April 27 that another driver cut them off in traffic, got out and damaged their car for a reported loss of $300.

THEFT
A resident in the 1900 block of Ivy Lane reported at 2:17 p.m. on April 30 that a customer had used a fraudulent check to buy $2,800 worth of merchandise online.

THREAT
An employee in the 2800 block of Patriot Boulevard reported at 4:44 p.m. on April 30 that a customer had caused a scene and threatened harm after being denied a refund.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
An employee in the 500 block of Waukegan Road reported at 7:03 p.m. on April 30 that another employee had threatened them with harm.

ARRESTS

Anda Constantin, 24, of the 700 block of Ashley Court in Hoffman Estates, was arrested at 11:22 a.m. on April 23 and charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of Waukegan Road following an investigation.

A 26-year-old Wheeling woman was arrested at 10:36 p.m. on April 23 and charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle after a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

Tatjana Dragovic, 47, of the 300 block of West Erie Street in Chicago, was arrested at 8:53 p.m. on April 24 and charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license. She was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and registration suspended for no insurance after a traffic stop in the 3700 block of Willow Road.

Nicholas Lykins, 21, of the 900 block of Church Street in Glenview, was arrested at 8:46 p.m. on April 24 and charged with violation of an order of protection following an investigation at his home.

Daniel Ioffe, 21, of the 600 block of Cherry Valley Road in Vernon Hills, was arrested at 12:39 p.m. on April 25 was charged with retail theft following an investigation at Von Maur, 1960 Tower Drive.

James Binney, 37, of the 2300 block of Linden Leaf Drive in Glenview, was arrested at 11:54 p.m. on April 25 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at Spruce Drive and Elm Street. He was also cited for excessive speeding (going 21 to 25 mph above the limit) and driving without his license in possession.

A 56-year-old Buffalo Grove woman was arrested at 12:38 p.m. on April 26 and charged with driving on a revoked driver's license following a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Shermer Road.

Brandon Agunloye, 29, of the 3200 block of Milwaukee Avenue in Glenview, was arrested at 1:33 p.m. on April 26 on two DuPage County warrants, one for cannabis possession and another for a suspended license, in the 3200 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

Justin Lynch, 36, of the 1500 block of Lehigh Avenue in Glenview, was arrested at 4:29 a.m. on April 27 and charged with domestic battery at his home.

David Carchi, 51, of the 3600 block of West Lawrence Avenue in Chicago, IL was arrested at 10:05 p.m. on April 28 and charged with driving with a revoked license. He was also cited with driving without a rear registration light following a traffic stop stop in the 200 block of East Lake Avenue.

Jack Hagedorn, 24, of the 300 block of Wolf Point Place in Chicago, was arrested at 2:52 a.m. on April 29 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol concentration above 0.08. He was also ticketed for speeding, uninsured motor vehicle and expired registration following a traffic stop in the 2700 block of East Lake Avenue.

Pedro Khani, 20, of the 2600 block of Fontana Drive in Glenview, was arrested at 12:25 p.m. on April 29 on a Cook County Warrant for a violation of the terms of his conditional release following an investigation into a traffic crash in the 100 block of Shermer Road.
