The parade begins at 4 p.m. and heads down Glenview Road from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church headed west down to Jackman Park. There will be carolers, cookies, popcorn, hot chocolate and coffee. The local chamber of commerce has organized the holiday event for nearly a quarter century.

"I think that we've got a couple things that we do here in Glenview that are totally for our residents, and the Holiday Parade is one of the most fun, I think," said Betsy Baer, executive director of the Glenview Chamber of Commerce. "We invite everybody to come down. We include the whole community, Glenbrook South marching band, Glenbrook South choir, and I think it kind of wraps its arms around everything that is Glenview."
