$8K Stolen From Glovebox Of Car In Glenview: Blotter
The incident happened between Oct. 29-31 in the 2500 block of Waterview Drive: Glenview Police Blotter.

SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE

- Janese A. Clark, 18, of the 10000 block of Linda Lane, Des Plaines, is accused of driving while license suspended, speeding, and was arrested at 10:11 a.m. Oct. 30 following a traffic stoop in the 1800 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was processed and released on a $2,500 bond, and assigned a court date of Dec. 9 in Skokie.
- Felipe Beltran-Avila, 35, of the 800 block of North Keystone Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving on a suspended driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and was arrested at 7:17 p.m. Oct. 27 after a traffic crash investigation in the 1900 block of Johns Drive. He was released on $2,500 bond, and was assigned a court date of Oct. 23.
NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
Narantsetseg Batbayer, 42, of the 3400 block of Salem Walk, Northbrook, is accused of no valid driver's license, and was arrested after being involved in a traffic accident at 6:41 p.m. Nov. 1 in the 1700 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond, and assigned a court date of Nov. 23 in Skokie.

DECEPTIVE PRACTICE
Patrick Petrillo, 31, of the 1500 block of Stonegate Manor, Mount Prospect is accused of deceptive practice, and was arrested at 8:11 p.m. Oct. 26 after an investigation of a theft in the 1600 block of Waukegan Road on Aug. 8. He will attend a bond hearing on Oct. 27.
BATTERY
Israel Garcia-Guzman, 23, of the 1300 block of North Winslow Drive, Palatine, is accused of having an active warrant out of Glenview for battery, and was arrested at 10 p.m. Oct. 28 in Buffalo Grove. The charge follows an investigation of a battery at Target, 2241 Willow Road, Glenview, on April 3. He was transferred to court for a bond hearing after failing to post bond ($50,000). He was assigned a court date of Dec. 9.
SPEEDING
Michael Ilian, of the 8200 block of Osceola Avenue, Niles, is accused of speeding (67 mph in a 35 mph zone), and was arrested at 1:25 p.m. Oct. 29 after a traffic stop in the 300 block of Waukegan Road. He posted his driver's license as bond and was assigned a court date of Dec. 9.
INCIDENTS
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
An employee of a business in the 3400 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 3:03 p.m. Oct. 27 that a male was seen behind the business looking at vehicles. When confronted the male walked quickly away and was last seen walking into the woods north of the business.
THEFT
- A resident in the 1000 block of Castilian Court called police at 12:19 p.m. Oct. 28 to report someone stole the catalytic converter from their vehicle while it was parked in his parking lot during the overnight hours. The reported loss is $1,000.
- A resident in the 1000 block of Castilian Court reported at 6:45 p.m. Oct. 28 someone took the catalytic converter off their vehicle while it was in the parking lot sometime between Oct 26-28. The reported loss is $300.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
- A resident in the 2700 block of Harrison Street called police at 4:26 p.m. Oct. 28 to report someone forced open the front entry door, entered the residence and stole two watches from inside. The reported loss is $600.
- A resident in the 400 block of Lotus Lane reported at 10:33 p.m. Oct. 31 their home was burglarized. Cash and jewelry was stolen in the residence. The total loss is approximately $6,000.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
- A property owner in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 6:36 p.m. Oct. 28 they heard banging along their fence line west of his property. They went to investigate and saw three males standing by a damaged section of his fence. The males walked away northbound from the area. One of them wore a hooded sweatshirt. There is no further description. The reported loss is $200.
- An employee of LA Fitness, 3880 Willow Road, called police at 9:50 p.m. Oct. 28 to report someone broke the front passenger window on their vehicle parked in the parking lot between 6:35-9:50 p.m. The reported loss is $200.
FRAUD
A Westview Road resident reported at 1:20 p.m. Oct. 30 receiving a telephone call in September notifying him he won the lottery and would just have to pay the taxes by purchasing gift cards. Total loss is $15,000.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
A resident in the 2500 block of Waterview Drive called police at 5:49 p.m. Oct. 31 to report $8,050 in cash was stolen out of the glove box of their vehicle sometime between Oct. 29-31.
AGGRAVATED IDENTITY THEFT
- A Henley Street resident reported at 9:22 a.m. Oct. 27 receiving a pre-paid debit card in the mail from the Illinois Department of Employment Security and did not apply for unemployment benefits. There is no reported loss.
- An employee of a business on Pickwick Avenue called police at 2:44 p.m. Oct. 27 to report their employer received a letter from the Illinois Department of Employment Security stating they filed for unemployment benefits and did not apply for unemployment benefits. There is no reported loss.
- A Hawthorne Lane resident reported at 12:24 p.m. Oct. 27 their employer received a letter from the Illinois Department of Employment Security stating they filed for unemployment benefits and did not apply for unemployment benefits. There is no reported loss.
- A Knight Street resident called police at 4:06 p.m. Oct. 27 to report receiving a pre-paid debit card in the mail from the Illinois Department of Employment Security and did not apply for unemployment benefits. There is no reported loss.
- A Henley Street resident reported at 9:22 a.m. Oct. 27 receiving a pre-paid debit card in the mail from the Illinois Department of Employment Security and did not apply for unemployment benefits. There is no reported loss.
- A Maple Leaf Drive resident called police at 9:45 a.m. Oct. 28 to report receiving a letter from the Illinois Department of Employment Security informing their unemployment benefits were denied and did not apply for unemployment benefits. There is no reported loss.
- An Elm Street resident reported at 12:20 p.m. Oct. 28 receiving a letter from the Illinois Department of Employment Security stating someone used their personal information to apply for unemployment benefits. They never applied for a benefit. There is no reported loss.
- A Queens Lane resident called police at 7:49 p.m. Oct. 29 to report their employer received a letter from the Illinois Department of Employment Security indicating they applied for unemployment benefits. The resident never applied for a benefit. There is no reported loss.
- A Wedgewood Drive resident reported at 9:10 a.m. Oct. 30 receiving a debit card from the Illinois Department of Employment Security regarding unemployment benefits they never applied for. There is no reported loss.
- A Laurel Avenue resident called police at 1:20 p.m. Oct. 30 to report receiving a debit card in the mail regarding unemployment benefits they never applied for. There is no reported loss.
