Alleged Affair Causes Work Disturbance: Glenview PD Blotter
The spouse of an employee was given a trespass warning not to return to the business, according to police.

Konrad Micun, 32, of the 4100 block of Judd Avenue, Schiller Park, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, and was arrested at 8:53 p.m. Aug. 18, following an investigation into a well-being check in the 2700 block of Pfingsten Road. He was released and given a court date of Sept. 11.
AGGRAVATED BATTERY

Nick Taylor, 18, of the 2000 block of Henley Street, is accused of aggravated battery, mob action, and was arrested at 11:05 a.m. Aug. 14, following an investigation into an incident that was reported on June 28 in the 2200 block of Daisy Avenue. Taylor was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 15.

INCIDENTS
BURGLARY FROM VEHICLE
- A resident in the 2700 block of Brassie Drive reported that during the overnight hours of Aug. 13, someone had entered their vehicle that had been parked unlocked in the driveway overnight. The center console was open, with $100 cash, a watch and a pocketknife missing from the vehicle. Estimated loss is $570.
- A resident of the 3200 block of Bellwood Lane called police at 12:23 p.m. Aug. 13, to report someone had entered their unlocked vehicle that had been parked overnight in the driveway. At least $5 cash and glasses were taken from the vehicle. Estimate loss is $25.
- A resident of the 900 block of Rolling Pass called police to report that during the overnight hours of Aug. 13, someone had entered their unlocked Kia overnight. About $2 worth of change was missing from the vehicle. A neighbor's Ring camera showed a young, thin male riding a bicycle pulling on door handles. The male was wearing a hoodie and facemask.
- A resident of the 1000 block of Gladish Lane called police to report that between Aug. 12 and Aug. 13, someone had entered their unlocked vehicle. Sunglasses and CDs were taken.
- A resident in the 800 block of Clover Court called police at 4:20 p.m. Aug. 15, to report someone had entered their vehicle parked on the driveway sometime overnight. They found their glove box rummaged through and sunglasses missing. Total loss is $200.
- A resident in the 1700 block of Pickwick Lane called police on Aug. 15 to report someone had entered their unlocked vehicle and took change from the cup holder at 2:52 a.m. Aug. 12.
IDENTITY THEFT
- A Rolling Pass resident called police at 9:54 a.m. Aug. 13, to report the screen flashing on their iPad showing an alert with a number to call, which they did. The person asked them to send photos of their credit cards and driver's license, which they complied. They then asked them to purchase gift cards, and they then realized it was a scam. They froze all their credit cards and reported the incident to the credit bureaus.
- An Ari Lane resident reported at 11:24 a.m. Aug. 16, someone had used their personal identifying information to list their property in South Carolina for sale. They contacted the listed realtor, provided proof of ownership, and had their property listing removed.
- A resident in the 900 block of Central Road called police at 12:20 p.m. Aug. 16, to report someone had used their credit card information on June 24 to make a $910.10 purchase at a Best Buy.
- An Iroquois Drive resident reported at 6:41 p.m. Aug. 16, someone had hacked their Facebook account, pretended to sell vehicles, and then took payments for it. No financial loss.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY
- Employees of a business in the 1600 block of Waukegan Road reported at 12:17 p.m. Aug. 13, receiving an alarm notification for the business. They responded and found the north garage door forced open, but nothing was taken. The door and locking mechanism were damaged. They believe the audible alarm scared off the offenders. Video from a neighboring business showed a white SUV entered the lot at 3:15 a.m. and re-emerged at 3:20 a.m. Total damage is $1,000.
- Employees of a business in the 4300 block of Regency Drive called police at 4:31 p.m. Aug. 15, to report someone had entered the business through the rear door that had been standing open. Two Makita drills and a multi tool were taken off a cart near the door. Total loss is $455.
- A resident of the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported that between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Aug. 18, they had put their belongings inside a locker in the locker room at a business in the 3800 block of Willow Road between 5:30 pm. and 7 p.m. They did not have a lock on their locker and noticed their wallet and other items missing when they returned. They located some of the items in a different locker. A wallet, $50 in cash, two Peruvian credit cards and their Puru passport were taken.
TRESPASSING
Employees of a business in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 1:20 p.m. Aug. 13, a male on the property getting close to females, making them uncomfortable. They said his behavior was odd and once male employees were seen by the person, he entered a vehicle and left the area.
FORGERY
Employees of a business in the 900 block of River Road reported at 2:43 p.m. Aug. 14, a male and female had entered the business, asking for her to be added to his business account. The female showed a driver's license which appeared fictitious. The bank called the customer whose name was on the driver's license, who confirmed she was not at the bank and her identity was stolen. The two yelled at employees, then left the area prior to police arrival.
BATTERY
- A Northfield resident reported at 3:04 p.m. Aug. 14, they had been involved in a road rage incident with a Berwyn resident. Vehicles stopped on Johns Drive and the drivers got out yelling. They engaged in a physical altercation and then left the scene.
- An employee of a business in the 1800 block of Prairie Street called police at 10:29 p.m. Aug. 16, to report a customer pushed them in the chest after a dispute over the bill. No injuries were reported.
THEFT
- A Washington resident reported at 5:15 p.m. Aug. 15, someone had removed their pink Lululemon crossbody bag while in the waiting room for a business in the 2300 block of Lehigh Avenue. The bag contained credit cards, Air pods, and $40 in cash.
- A resident in the 100 block of Yale Court called police at 12:57 a.m. Aug. 18, to report a reservation through VRBO. They received an email from the owner asking to contact him via cell phone, which he provided the number. He then gave them a routing number and account number asking for payment of $6,183, which they complied. They realized the actual owner did not receive the payment and believes the email had been hacked. Complaints will be signed.
THEFT OF LOST PROPERTY
A Gurnee resident reported at 12:16 p.m. Aug. 16, someone had taken their phone after they were unaware the phone fell out their pocket and onto a couch they were sitting on at a business in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Avenue. Surveillance video showed an unknown heavier set white male, about 225 to 250 pounds, around 6-foot tall, short brown hair with a thinning/bald spot on the rear of his head, wearing a navy-blue t-shirt, khaki shorts and black flip flops enter the store and take the phone. Loss is estimated at $70.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Employees of a business in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue called police at 12:51 p.m. Aug. 16, to report a terminated employee verbally threatened a security guard, as they were escorted out of the store. Officers contacted the terminated employee and advised them they were trespassed from the store.
UNWANTED PERSON
An employee for a business in the 1800 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 2:24 a.m. Aug. 18, a male who was not a guest hanging out in the parking lot. Officers contacted the male and he left without incident.
STOLEN VEHICLE
A rental vehicle was stolen between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Aug. 17, while it was parked at a business in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue. The owner of the vehicle, Hertz rental company, was notified.
RETAIL THEFT
- A loss prevention officer for a business in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard reported at 9:10 p.m. Aug. 15, three males entered the store and removed numerous bottles of liquor without paying. Total loss was $1,208.60.
- The loss prevention staff of a business in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard reported that at 8:59 p.m. Aug. 13, a male and female entered the store and removed numerous bottles of liquor without paying. Total loss was $573.82. The couple is suspected of committing similar thefts in Libertyville, Highland Park and Wilmette.
TRESPASS WARNING
A manager of a business in the 2200 block of Golf Road reported at 10:35 a.m. Aug. 17, someone was causing a disturbance after they came in looking for their spouse who is an employee, who they believed was having an affair with a co-worker. The person was given a trespass warning not to return.
