Alfred F. Krumholz, Jr., resident of Glenview for 59 years, was husband and friend for 62 years of June Krumholz nee Ohlson; father of Kristine (Denny) Stidham of Northbrook, Bruce A. (Kathleen) Krumholz of Glenview, and Lori Marie (Tod) Ralston of Longmont, Co.; grandfather of Joanna (Erik) Lebsack, Ryan (Jocelyn), Sara and Brandon Stidham, Brittany (Eric) Reid, Mallory Stidham, Bruce, Carolyn and Matthew Krumholz, Lindsey (Kevin) Iten and Jonathan Karnuth; and great-grandfather of Shannon, Owen and Drew Lebsack, Cole and Kaelyn Stidham.
He graduated from Senn High School class of 1939, Purdue University class of 1943. Krumholz served as a 2nd Lt. in the U. S. Army during World War II. Al followed in his father’s footsteps, and was a third generation President of Chicago Boiler, a company established in 1891 by his grandfather, August Krumholz. Al was an avid curler and golfer for 51 years at .
