Cardinal Francis George, O.M.I. Honors Influential Chicagoans During 2011 Rerum Novarum Awards

This year’s recipients of the 2011 Rerum Novarum Awards were Dan McLaughlin, Mayor of Orland Park and executive director of the Plumbing Council of Chicagoland and the Plumbing Contractors Association, selected to represent government, Jorge Ramirez, president of the Chicago Federation of Labor, selected to represent labor, and John McDonough, president and CEO of the Chicago Blackhawks, selected to represent business.
