Banana Fight At Hotel; Customer Egged Outside Store: Blotter
Guests got involved in an altercation in the lobby of a hotel; a customer of a grocery store was egged at her car: Glenview Police Blotter.

George Papageogiou, 52, of the 5500 block of North Artesian Avenue, Chicago, is accused of having a warrant for a suspended license for an incident that occurred on Sept. 30 in the 500 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was arrested at 6:23 a.m. Jan. 7 at the Glenview Police Station. Papageogiou was released after posting a $1,000 bond, and was assigned a court date of Jan. 29 in Skokie.
THEFT OF LABOR

Enkh U. Seitz, 45, of the 1300 block of Plymouth Lane, Glenview, is accused of theft of labor stemming from an investigation that began in July 2019, and was arrested on Jan. 11 at the Glenview Police Department. She was released on bond and assigned a court date of Feb. 16 in Skokie.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Kirill V. Zhadovich, 50, of the 600 block of Greenwood Road, Northbrook, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and was arrested at 5:13 a.m. Jan. 12 after being involved in a traffic accident in the 2700 block of Patriot Boulevard. He released after posting a $1,000 bond, and was assigned a court date of Jan. 29 in Skokie.
INCIDENTS
RETAIL THEFT
An employee of a business in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported at 11:23 a.m. Jan. 6 that they saw a male and female conceal numerous products and leave without paying on Jan. 1. The total reported loss is $1,500.
STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE
A resident in the 500 block of Milwaukee Avenue called police at 5:17 p.m. Jan. 6 to report a vehicle was stolen. The total reported loss is $20,000.
BATTERY
- An employee of a hotel in the 1800 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 12:52 p.m. Jan. 8 a guest threw a banana at another guest during an altercation in the lobby. There were no injuries.
- A citizen called police at 6:06 p.m. Jan. 8 to report being hit with eggs while placing groceries in their car in the 1000 block of Waukegan Road. There were no injuries.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
- An employee of a hotel in the 2600 block of Lehigh Avenue called police at 2:07 p.m. Jan. 8 to report extensive damage to a room caused by a prior guest. Total reported loss is $1,300.
- Police located a vehicle with broken windows at 3:15 a.m. Jan. 11 in the parking lot of the Glenview North Metra Train Station, 2301 Lehigh Ave. Total reported loss is $500.
IDENTITY THEFT
A Meadow Lane resident reported at 3:01 p.m. Jan. 8 being notified by Kansas City, Missouri police that an unknown person used their personal information to open a bank account and file for a Small Business Loan.
POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
Fabiola Rosas, 21, of the 5000 block of South Maplewood Avenue, Chicago, was issued a Village ordinance citation at 7:52 p.m. Jan. 10 for possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis; and Tania Sanchez, 23, of the 1900 block of South Avers Avenue, Chicago, was issued Village ordinance citations for possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, after a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Waukegan Road.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO STATE SUPPORTED PROPERTY
Police responded at 3:15 a.m. Jan. 11 to an alarm at the Glenview North Metra Train Station, 2301 Lehigh Ave. They found eight broken windows to the building and warming shelter. Total reported loss is $1,000.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
A guest of a hotel in the 3300 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 12:27 p.m. Jan. 11 someone entered their unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours and stole personal property. Total reported loss is $430.
HARASSMENT BY TELEPHONE
An Elm Street resident called police at 1:37 p.m. Jan. 11 to report receiving unwanted telephone calls from a blocked number.
