GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department as a record of police activity and includes both incidents reported by the public and arrests made by police. Readers are reminded that an arrest is not an indicator of guilt and criminal charges represent merely accusations. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

INCIDENTS

UNWANTED GUEST
Staff at a business in the 1600 block of Milwaukee Avenue said a customer was still in a room past checkout time, police were told at 4:25 p.m. on Jan. 23.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
An employee at a business in the 1600 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported getting a telephoned death threat from a former customer.

ELECTRONIC HARASSMENT
A resident in the 300 block of Harlem Avenue reported at 10:19 p.m. on Jan. 23 that they had been getting unwanted text messages.

TELEPHONE HARASSMENT
A resident in the 2400 block of Swainwood Drive reported receiving unwanted telephone calls and messages at 2:31 a.m. on Jan. 24.

TELEPHONE HARASSMENT
A resident in the 4100 block of Cove Lane reported at 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 24 that they had been getting unwanted phone calls.

HOME BURGLARY
A resident in the 2900 block of Central Road reported on Jan. 24 that someone had broken open the front door of their house and stole more than $3,000 worth of property from inside.

ELECTRONIC HARASSMENT
A resident in the 2300 block of Mohawk Lane reported at 8:19 p.m. on Jan. 24 that they had received unwanted text messages.

TRESPASS
A resident in the 100 block of Washington Street reported at 1:52 p.m. on Jan. 25 that someone was on their property without permission.

THEFT
A patron at an unspecified business in the 2400 block of Chestnut Avenue reported at 12:16 p.m. on Jan. 25 that someone had stolen a wallet and telephone worth $800 from a locker.

STOLEN VEHICLE FOUND
Police found an empty 2003 gray Chevrolet Malibu at 2 a.m. on Jan. 26 parked on the north side of a business in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue. Police said it had been stolen earlier in an armed carjacking in Chicago.

CAR BURGLARY
A resident in the 4700 block of Linden Avenue reported at 8:27 a.m. on Jan. 26 that someone had entered their unlocked vehicle while it was parked on their driveway and stole a wallet worth $300 from inside.

CAR BURGLARY
A resident in the 4700 block of Lilac Avenue reported at 12:08 p.m. on Jan. 26 that someone had entered and rummaged through an unlocked vehicle parked on their driveway, but there was no reported loss.

CAR BURGLARY
A resident in the 1600 block of Forest Drive reported at 1:40 p.m. on Jan. 26 that someone had entered two unlocked vehicles parked on the driveway and stole keys from inside. The reported loss was $10.

TRESPASS
An employee in the 3600 block of West Lake Avenue reported at 2:32 p.m. on Jan. 26 that someone drove onto the property without permission and took scrap from a recycling container.

RETAIL THEFT
An employee in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported at 3:03 p.m. on Jan. 26 that someone had entered the store and taken gift and beauty items from the shelf and left the store without paying for a loss of $25.

THEFT
A customer in the 1800 block of Tower Drive reported at 9:26 p.m. on Jan. 26 that someone had stolen a wallet from a purse hanging across the back of their chair. Credit cards from the wallet were used at area stores shortly afterward for a reported loss of $250.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE
A resident in the 3900 block of Countryside Lane reported at 11:30 p.m. someone damaged their garage door panels. The reported loss is $150.00.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
An employee in the 2900 block of Patriot Drive reported at 5:35 p.m. on Jan. 28 that someone in the store began yelling at her and calling her names.

RETAIL THEFT
An employee in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 10:42 a.m. on Jan. 29 that someone had stolen a telephone charging pad worth $90.

RETAIL THEFT
An employee in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 10:42 a.m. on Jan. 29 that someone stole a floor brush off of a vacuum cleaner for a loss of $150.

UNWANTED PERSON
An employee in the 3600 block of West Lake Avenue reported at 1:28 a.m. on Jan. 30 that a truck driver was on the property overnight without permission.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Jefferson Gonzales, 33, of the 7200 block of Crawford Avenue in Lincolnwood, was arrested at 12:20 p.m. on Jan. 22 and charged with identity theft in connection with an investigation into an incident of identity theft in the 1700 block of Annapolis Drive on June 11, 2017.

Diana Krask, 42, of the 13200 block of South Mackinaw Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 4:52 p.m. on Jan. 24 and charged with retail theft in the 2200 block of Willow Road.

A 23-year-old Chicago man was arrested at 4:30 a.m. on Jan. 26 and charged with driving with a suspended license and improper lane usage after police found him sleeping in his car in the 700 block of Waukegan Road.

A 37-year-old Chicago woman was arrested at 1:45 a.m. on Jan. 27 and charged with driving without a valid license and speeding between 15 and 20 mph above the limit following a traffic stop in the 3400 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

Aleh Kazeiyka, 29, of the 8600 block of Foster Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 7:11 p.m. on Jan. 27 in the 1600 block of Patriot Boulevard and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration above 0.08.

A 46-year-old Glenview woman was arrested at 3:39 a.m. on Jan. 30 and in the 0-100 block of East Lake Avenue and charged with driving with a suspended license.

Jerry Wagner, 58, of the 300 Lamon Avenue in Wilmette, was arrested at 1:17 p.m. on Jan. 29 and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving without a valid license and failure to give aid or information following an investigation into a Jan. 22 traffic crash in the 2000 block of Pfingsten Road.

A 28-year-old Chicago man was arrested at 10:17 a.m. on Jan. 30 and charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to yield while exiting a private drive following a traffic stop in the 600 block of Milwaukee Avenue.
