Customer Gets Trespass Warning For Goodwill Retail Theft: Blotter
The Skokie resident was cited for an incident Sunday morning: Glenview Police Blotter.

GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department (unless otherwise noted) and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

Jaylen Sanford, 19, of the 400 block of Perrie Drive, Elk Grove Village, is accused of reckless discharage of a firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis, and was arrested at 12:17 p.m. Dec. 10, following an investigation of an incident in the 2700 block of Pfingsten Road. He was being held for a bond hearing at the Skokie Courthouse at the time of his arrest.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Mary Corby, 52, of the 600 block of Forest Road, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 7:25 p.m. Dec. 8, following a well-being check in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard. She was released on a D-bond with a court date set for Jan. 9, 2022.
RETAIL THEFT
- Jorge Rosario, 47, of Genoa, Wisconsin, is accused of having a warrant for retail theft in the 2300 block of Capital Drive on July 7, and was arrested at the Cicero Police Department on Dec. 9. He was held for a bond hearing at the Skokie Courthouse.
- Kevin Syas, 48, of the 0-10 block of Kedzie Avenue, Chicago, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 11 a.m. Dec. 9, at the Skokie Courthouse, following the investigation of an incident at 25 Waukegan Road on Dec. 7. He was released on an I-bond and turned over to the custody of the Cook County Sheriff’s Office.
THEFT
Jacquez Brown, 27, of the 700 block of N. Spaulding Avenue, Chicago, is accused of theft following an investigation of an incident in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue on Nov. 5, and was arrested at the Cook County Jail on Dec. 6. He was released to the custody of the Cook County Sheriff’s Department on an I-bond with a court date set for Jan. 19, 2022.
NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
David Procel Valdez, 25, of the 3200 block of W. Lawrence Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving with no valid driver's license, speeding, and was arrested at 10:59 p.m. Dec. 7, following a traffic stop in the 1800 block of East Lake Avenue. He was released on an I-bond with a court date set for Jan. 24, 2022.

INCIDENTS
RETAIL THEFT
- An employee of a business in the 0-100 block of Waukegan Road reported someone entered the store at 11:45 a.m. Dec. 7, loaded a cart with goods and left the store without paying.
- A Skokie resident was cited at 9:23 a.m. Dec. 12, under village ordinance for retail theft following the investigation of an incident at Goodwill, 2740 Old Willow Road. Officers gave the customer trespass warning to the business at the request of employees.
- An employee of a business in the 2200 block of Willow Road called police at 2:19 p.m. Dec. 12, to report three incidents of retail theft by a customer in November 2021.
TRESPASSING
An employee of a business in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road called police at 3:17 p.m. Dec. 8, to report a customer inside the store who was recognized from past problem incidents. Officers spoke with the customer and gave them trespass notice to the business.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident in the 1600 block of Palmgren Drive reported at 4:04 p.m. Dec. 8, that at some time between Dec. 4 and Dec. 8 someone entered their home and stole gift cards. There were no signs of forced entry to the residence and no damage to exterior doors or windows.
IDENTITY THEFT
A Chestnut Avenue resident called police at 2:07 p.m. Dec. 10, to report someone used their personal information to open two lines of credit at two different banks and obtained a loan.
STOLEN VEHICLE
A resident in the 600 block of Waukegan Road reported their vehicle was stolen from the parking lot sometime between 5 p.m. Dec. 11 and 9 a.m. Dec. 12.
THEFT
A person called police at 11:38 a.m. Dec. 12, to report a purse stolen from inside a backpack at a business in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road.
SPEEDING
A Rosemont resident was cited at 7:40 p.m. Dec. 12, for speeding (26+ mph over) following a traffic stop at Central Road and Greenwood Road. They were released on an I-bond with a court date set for Jan. 19, 2022.
VILLAGE ORDINANCE VIOLATION
A resident in the 200 block of Elm Street was cited at 10:52 a.m. Dec. 13, under village ordinance for disturbance by animals following an investigation.
NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
A resident was cited at 12:53 p.m. Dec. 13, for no valid driver's license, speeding (26+ mph over the speed limit), following a traffic stop in the 4800 West Lake Avenue. They were released on an I-bond with a court date set for Jan. 24, 2022.
