GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department (unless otherwise noted) and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

ARRESTS
DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED DRIVER'S LICENSE

Zachary Herndon II, 19, of the 400 block of McHenry Road, Wheeling, is accused of driving with a suspended driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, having a warrant out of McLean County, and was arrested at 8:57 a.m. Dec. 4, following the investigation into a traffic crash in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was released after posting a $3,000 bond and assigned a court date of Jan. 5, 2022.
DOMESTIC BATTERY

- Eric Cox, 22, of Glenview, is accused of domestic battery, obstructing a peace officer, and was arrested at 9:56 a.m. Dec. 5, in Glenview. He was held for a bond hearing at the Skokie Courthouse.
- Anthony Bova, 46, of Glenview, is accused of domestic battery, violation of an order of protection, and was arrested at 4:41 a.m. Dec. 1, in Glenview. He was held for a bond hearing at the Skokie Courthouse.
BATTERY
Michael Swiscz, 46, of the 38000 block of N. Miller Road, Lake Villa, is accused of battery, and was arrested Dec. 2 following the investigation of an incident in the 3000 block of N. Lake Terrace on Nov. 2. He was released on an I-bond with a court date set for Dec. 17.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
- Fermin Ramirez-Martinez, 36, of the 1300 block of Brummel Street, Evanston, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding 26 mph over the speed limit, and was arrested at 1:05 p.m. Dec. 2, in the 3200 block of Sanders Road. He was released on a D-bond with a court date set for Dec. 17.
- Douglas Boutwell, 42, of the 3000 block of Plum Island Drive, Northbrook, is accused of driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol concentration level over .08, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 8:41 p.m. Dec. 1, following a traffic crash investigation in the 1200 block of Greenwood Road. He was released on bond with a court date set for Jan. 7, 2022.
WARRANT
Ana Bolz, 33, of the 1400 block of Ashland Avenue, Des Plaines, is accused of having an outstanding warrant out of Lee County, and was arrested at 3:45 p.m. Nov. 30, following the investigation of a traffic crash in the 4000 block of West Lake Avenue. She was released on bond with a court date set for Jan. 7, 2022, at the Lee County Courthouse in Dixon.

INCIDENTS
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS
- A resident in the 1900 block of Ammer Ridge Court reported that at sometime between Nov. 27 and Nov. 30 someone stole the catalytic converter from under their vehicle as it sat parked, unoccupied, in the parking lot.
- A resident in the 4100 block of Cove Lane called police on Dec. 4 to report that between Nov. 26-27, someone stole the catalytic converter from their vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot.
SPEEDING
- A Northbrook resident was cited for speeding 26 mph over the speed limit at 10:37 a.m. Dec. 2, following a traffic stop in the 3500 block of Milwaukee Avenue. They were released on bond with a court date set for Dec. 17.
- A Northbrook resident was cited for speeding 26 mph over the speed limit at 3:09 p.m. Dec. 6, following a traffic stop in the 4700 block of West Lake Avenue. They were released on bond with a court date set for Jan. 24, 2022.
- A resident was cited for speeding 26 mph over the speed limit at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 6, following a traffic stop in the 4700 block of West Lake Avenue. They were released on bond with a court date set for Jan. 24, 2022.
- An Arlington Heights resident was cited for speeding 26 mph over the speed limit at 6:53 p.m. Dec. 6, following a traffic stop in the 4800 block of West Lake Avenue. They were released on bond with a court date set for Jan. 19, 2022.
TRESPASSING
- An employee of a business in the 2100 block of Waukegan Road called police at 10:30 p.m. Dec. 2, to report a customer refusing to leave the business. Officers spoke with the customer and gave him a trespass notice at the request of the business.
- An employee of a business in the 2600 block of Navy Boulevard reported at 6:07 p.m. Dec. 5, an irate customer in the store refusing to leave. Officers spoke with the customer who was angered over an order. Officers gave the customer trespass notice to the business, at the request of the manager.
DECEPTIVE PRACTICES
A Pam Anne Drive resident reported at 8:21 a.m. Dec. 3, they received a phone call two days prior from the Drug Enforcement Agency, who advised their social security number was used in drug activity and money laundering. The scam caller told the resident a new social security number could be issued if gift cards were purchased.
DRUG OFFENSE
A Milwaukee resident was cited for unlawful possession of cannabis, illegal transportation of alcohol, having an obstructed windshield, at 10:39 a.m. Dec. 3 after a traffic stop in the 3200 block of Sanders. They were released on an I-Bond and given a court date of Jan. 24, 2022.
HARASSMENT BY TELEPHONE
A manager of a business in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported that between 6 and 6:43 p.m. Dec. 3, a caller harassed their employees during a phone call. Officers contacted the caller and advised them to stop calling the business.
THEFT
A resident in the 100 block of Waukegan Road called police to report that between 6 p.m. Dec. 3, and 9 a.m. Dec. 4, someone stole a package from the common package room in the building.
HARASSMENT BY ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION
An employee of a business in the 2200 block of Waukegan Road reported at 6:22 p.m. Dec. 4, receiving unwanted emails from a former employee. Officers contacted the former employee and told them to stop emailing the business.
BURGLARY FROM VEHICLE
An employee of a business in the 2100 block of Johns Court called police on Dec. 6 to report construction equipment stolen from several work trucks, which were parked in the parking lot, sometime between Dec. 4 and Dec. 6.
