Driver Charged With DUI After Crash: Police

The following information is from the Glenview Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DUI

Timothy Schattner, 28, of the 800 block of Peregrine Drive, Palatine, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content over the legal limit, driving without insurance and improper lane use after a May 7 traffic accident in the the 2100 block of East Lake Avenue.

Schattner was held on $1,000 bail, and his court date is June 29.

DUI

Doyle J. Lanphere, 51, of the 3600 block of Westfield Lane, Glenview, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, disobeying a traffic light, improper lane use and making an improper turn after a May 8 traffic stop in the 2500 block of East Lake Avenue.

Lanphere was held on $1,000 bail, and his court date is May 26.

THEFT

Michael Betancourt, 31, of the 500 block of Bobby Lane, Mundelein, was arrested and charged with theft after a 2015 investigation in connection with an incident in the 2900 block of Patriot Drive.

Betancourt was held on $1,000 bail, and his court date is June 9.

RETAIL THEFT

Erin Rooney, 20, of the 1500 block of Imperial Drive, was charged with retail theft after a May 9 incident in the 2200 block of Willow Road.

Rooney was held on $1,000 bail, and her court date is June 25.
