Easter 2018: Glenview Egg Hunts, Eggstravaganza, Bunny Breakfast
Enjoy a buffet breakfast with the bunny before one of several family egg hunts Saturday.

GLENVIEW, IL — There are several different Easter Egg hunts taking place in Glenview Saturday, starting with a buffet breakfast with the bunny hosted by the Glenview Park District. Starting at 8 a.m., you can prepare for a day of egg-hunting and a weekend full of family festivities with fruit, French toast, hash browns, scrambled eggs, coffee and juice in the Park Center at 2400 Chestnut Ave.
That's followed by an old-fashioned egg hunt at 10 a.m. in the center's main gym. Children of all ages will have a "hopping good time," according to the park district.
"Breakfast with the Bunny," which also includes time for fun crafts, requires pre-registration, but the free eggstravaganza is free open to everyone.

The Kohl Children's Museum will be hiding colorful eggs around its outdoor exhibits in Habitat Park and invited ticketed kids to collect six candy-filled eggs before selecting one prize egg. Prizes will range from candy to gift cards – and may even include a one-year complimentary museum membership.
The hunt runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and regular museum admission and additional tickets are required. The event may have a delayed start due to inclement weather.

The Glenview New Church School is also holding a pair of egg hunts.
Children from ages 1 to 4 can take part in the "Toddling Tots Easter Egg Hunt" at 9 a.m., featuring more than 1,000 eggs hidden around the ball field at the end of Gladish Lane, next to the large playground. All the eggs will be left empty to avoid any potential choking hazards. Afterwards children can turn in their basket of collected eggs in exchange for a single toy.
Children below the age of 15 can take part in a traditional Easter Egg Hunt beginning at 10:30 a.m. More than 8,000 eggs containing candy and a few containing Grand Prize Golden eggs will be hidden around the 15-acre inside circle of the school campus. There will also be a raffle, a magic show and snacks. Tickets required.
