Felony Fire Safety System Tampering Charge: Glenview Police Blotter
A Glenview resident was arrested following the investigation of an incident in the 1800 block of Milwaukee Avenue, according to police.

Stacy A. McDonial, 48, of the 4200 block of S. Drexel Boulevard, Chicago, is accused of improper parking on a roadway, suspended driver's license, and had a warrant out of Cook County for bond forfeiture, when arrested at 4:09 a.m. March 19, in the 1200 block of Shermer Road. McDonial was released on bond with a court date set for the Skokie Courthouse.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Michael Miller, 47, of the 700 block of Center Boulevard, Romeoville, had an outstanding warrant for residential burglary, and was arrested at 1:29 p.m. March 15, at the Glenview Police Department. The charge came from an investigation into an incident on April 4, 2018, in the 2400 block of Pfingsten Road. He was held for a bond hearing at the Skokie Courthouse.
TAMPERING WITH A FIRE SAFETY SYSTEM
Alexander Krutoyarskiy, 35, of the 1800 block of Milwaukee Avenue, Glenview, is accused of felony tampering with a fire safety system, and was arrested at 9:18 p.m. March 13, following the investigation of an incident in the 1800 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was held for a bond hearing at the Skokie Courthouse.
IDENTITY THEFT
Zakiya Smalley, 25, of the 400 block of E. 86th Street, Chicago, is accused of felony identity theft, and was arrested at 10 a.m. March 14, at the Cook County Jail. The charge stems from an investigation into an incident on March 9, 2022, in the 2800 block of Patriot Boulevard. She was held in custody at the Cook County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.

INCIDENTS
BURGLARY TO AUTO
A resident in the 900 block of Harlem Avenue reported that between March 12 and March 14, someone shattered the driver’s side passenger window on their vehicle as it sat parked in a parking lot.
NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
- A Glenview resident was cited at 9:54 p.m. March 14, for no valid driver's license, operating a vehicle while using an electronic communications device, following a traffic stop in the 3000 block of Sanders Road.
- A Chicago resident was cited at 9:57 p.m. March 14, for no valid driver's license, improper lighting (one headlamp), following a traffic stop in the 800 block of Waukegan Road.
STOLEN VEHICLE
A resident in the 300 block of Neva Avenue called police to report that between March 14 and March 15, someone stole their vehicle from the driveway.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE
A resident in the 2400 block of Barbary Lane reported that between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. March 18, someone stole their vehicle, parked unlocked with the keys inside, from the driveway.
TRESPASSING
An employee of a business in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported at 2:28 p.m. March 19, ongoing harassment and disturbances at the business involving a customer. Officers met with the customer in the parking lot and gave them trespass notice to the business at the request of employees.
BATTERY
An employee of a business in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road reported at 3:02 p.m. March 19, being grabbed on the hand by a male customer.
DISPUTE
An employee of a business in the 3300 block of Glenview Road called police at 4:10 p.m. March 19, to report a customer made accusations and caused a disturbance. Officers asked the customer to leave the business at the request of employees.
THREAT
An employee of a business in the 1400 block of Paddock Drive reported at 9:25 a.m. March 20, receiving a threatening phone call from a person confusing the business for another business.
DISTURBANCE
An employee of a business in the 3600 block of West Lake Avenue called police at 10:15 a.m. March 20, to report a customer who was not happy with work performed at the business caused a disturbance.
BURGLARY
The owner of a business reported at 11:16 a.m. March 20, locks were cut off of and equipment was stolen from trailers parked in the 3800 block of North Lake Terrace.
BURGLARY FROM VEHICLE
A business owner in the 400 block of Glenview Road reported at 5:56 p.m. March 20, finding a male subject sitting in the driver’s seat of their vehicle, while the vehicle was parked in the parking lot at the business, rummaging through the center console. Upon seeing the vehicle owner, the male subject exited the vehicle, and entered another vehicle, which fled onto Glenview Road.
