Glenview Man Accused Of Posting Child Pornography Online: Police

GLENVIEW, IL — A Glenview man is facing felony charges after posting child pornography content online, according to prosecutors. Bruce Claver, 58, of the 3000 block of Knollwood Lane, is accused of felony manufacturing child pornography featuring victims under 13 years of age, and was arrested in connection with the charges on Tuesday.

Claver remains in the Cook County Jail and is due back in court on Jan. 22, 2024.

According to police, an investigation was started on Dec. 1 after agents with the U.S. Secret Service identified Claver was posting child pornography content online. Glenview police were assisted in the subsequent investigation by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the Cook County Sheriff’s Police, and the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.

Claver was previously arrested in January 2022 on charges of in connection with felony sexual abuse charges involving three children, before facing additional charges of felony predatory criminal sexual assault and criminal sexual abuse involving two other minors a month later.
