Glenview Resident Trashed University of Alabama's Student Center: Cops
Kacper Gozdecki is accused of causing $2,500 worth of damage at Ferguson Center early Sunday morning.

A Glenview resident and former Glenbrook South High School Honor Roll student is facing four felonies after being identified as the suspect in a break-in at the University of Alabama over the weekend.
Kacper Gozdecki is accused of breaking into the university’s Ferguson Center early Sunday morning and damaging several areas, according to FOX-6 WBRC in Alabama and other reports.
According to court documents, police were called to the University’s student center around 6:46 a.m. when a burglar alarm went off. There, an officer found Gozdecki in the campus post office “holding a metal pipe and a box in his hands.”

Gozdecki, a freshman at the school who has since been issued an interim suspension and trespass warning, is also alleged to have broken two glass doors, damaged walls, computers, chairs, desks and framed pictures. He is also accused of trying to take large sum of cash from a safe that was in the Crimson Catering Office, totaling $2,500 worth of property damage.
Godzecki, who was an Honor Roll student at Glenbrook South as a freshman in April 2012 according to a Glenview Patch report, now faces two counts of second degree burglary, two counts of first degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest.
