Indiana Man Charged Over Meth After Parking Lot Arrest: Blotter
2 stolen vehicles and a home break-in on the Glenview Police Department blotter for Aug. 15 to Aug. 21.

GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by Glenview police. INCIDENTS
THEFT
An employee of a store in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported at 2:58 p.m. on Aug. 13 that someone switched tags on a shirt to avoid paying the full price for a reported loss of $60.

STOLEN CAR
A commuter reported at 5:27 p.m. on Aug. 13 that someone stole their 2003 Honda two-door worth $17,000 from a parking lot in the 2300 block of Lehigh Avenue.
TELEPHONE HARASSMENT
An employee in the 3800 block of Willow Road reported at 8:49 p.m. on Aug. 13 that they had gotten unwanted calls at work.

FORGERY
An employee in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard reported at 5 p.m. on Aug. 14 that someone had used a counterfeit $100 to pay for merchandise.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
A resident in the 300 block of Waukegan Road reported at 10:36 p.m. on Aug. 14 that someone had done $500 in damage by scratching the paint on their vehicle.
FORGERY
An employee of a pharmacy in the 3300 block of Glenview Road reported at 6:22 p.m. on Aug. 16 that someone had tried to use a fraudulent prescription to get controlled substances.
THEFT
An employee in the 2300 block of Ridge Drive reported at 11:03 a.m. on Aug. 17 that someone had taken $475 worth of literature and tools from their business.
ELECTRONIC HARASSMENT
An employee in the 4200 block of Commercial reported at 5:54 p.m. on Aug. 18 that they had gotten several threatening text messages.
STOLEN MOTORCYCLE
A resident in the 4100 block of Cove Lane reported at 2:08 p.m. on Aug. 19 that a parked Honda motorcycle worth $8,000 had been stolen from a parking lot.
CHECK FRAUD
An employee of a business in the 800 block of Waukegan Road reported at 12:26 p.m. on Aug. 20 that someone had used a fraudulent check for $2,900 to make an unspecified purchase.
HOME BURGLARY
A resident in the 2500 block of Waterview Drive reported at 12:13 p.m. on Aug. 20 that someone broke into the home through a window and stole more than $1,300 worth of clothes and electronics.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
An employee of a business in the 1900 block of Glenview Road reported at 1:44 p.m. on Aug. 20 that someone had made repeated threatening calls.
THEFT
A resident in the 1200 block of Waukegan Road reported at 2:25 p.m. on Aug. 20 that someone had stolen two bikes worth a combined $350.
THEFT
A resident in the 1800 block of Aberdeen Drive reported at 4:13 p.m. on Aug. 20 that someone had stolen more than $4,000 worth of jewelry from their home.
BATTERY
An employee in the 2600 block of Compass Road reported at 4:49 p.m. on Aug. 20 that a former employee hit them on the wrist.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
A resident in the 600 block of Harlem Avenue reported at 6:22 p.m. on Aug. 20 that someone had thrown eggs and a bottle at their car.
ARRESTS
Lawrence Redman, 25, of the 400 block of Bowen Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 7:15 p.m. on Aug. 14 at an unspecified location and charged with unlawful possession of a fraudulent identification card.
A 58-year-old Chicago man was arrested at 8:41 p.m. on Aug. 17 and charged with driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop in the 2200 block of East Lake Avenue He was also issued citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a vehicle with only one red tail light.
A 62-year-old Zion man turned himself in to the Glenview Police Department at 4:45 p.m. on Aug. 20 to to face arrest on charges of leaving the scene of an accident failure to give information after he was accused of crashing into an unattended vehicle in a parking lot on July 31 in the 4000 block of West Lake Avenue.
Andrew Meehan, 42, of the 400 block of Romig Street in Lafayette, Indiana, was arrested at 1:09 a.m. on Aug 21 and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine following a well-being check in a parking lot in in the 2200 block of Willow Road.
A 28-year-old Waukegan woman was arrested at 2:34 a.m. on Aug. 22 and charged with driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Willow Road. She was also issued citations for operating and uninsured motor vehicle, registration suspended for non-insurance and speeding.
