Injured Person Investigation: Glenview PD Says Person of Interest In Custody

Police responded to a 911 call for an injured person Monday with a violent crimes task force assisting in the subsequent investigation.

GLENVIEW, IL — A person of interest has been taken into custody in connection with Glenview police responding to a 911 call regarding an injured person Monday. The North Regional Violent Crimes Task Force is assisting in the investigation which is believed to have been an isolated incident with no known threat to the community.

According to police, officers responded to a 911 call regarding an injured person at around 12:09 p.m. Monday, in the 3100 block of Sanders Road. Officers were able to secure the scene upon arrival.

Paramedics from the Glenview Fire Department treated the person and took them to Lutheran General Hospital for treatment.

Police had described the active investigation in the early stages before releasing an update Tuesday morning. A person was apprehended at around 1:23 p.m. Monday, in the 6900 block of Milwaukee Avenue, Niles, according to the Glenview Police Department.
