Kane County Woman DUI, Using Device Before Crash: Glenview Police
2 men, aged 21 and 49, were arrested and charged with domestic battery in the Glenview police blotter from Dec. 26 to Jan. 1.

TELEPHONE HARASSMENT
A resident in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported receiving unwanted telephone calls at 10:33 a.m. on Dec. 26.

ELECTRONIC HARASSMENT
A resident in the 3100 block of West Lake Avenue reported receiving unwanted phone calls and emails at 11:22 a.m. on Dec. 26
THEFT
A resident in the 1600 block of Cabot Lane reported at 12:52 p.m. on Dec. 27 that a ring worth more than $3,500 had been taken from their home.

TELEPHONE HARASSMENT
A resident in the 3100 block of Knollwood Lane reported receiving unwanted telephone sales calls at 4:04 p.m. on Dec. 27.
STRANGE PERSON
An employee in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported someone was in the business acting strangely at 5:21 p.m. on Dec. 27.
CAR BURGLARY
A resident in the 1500 block of Greenwood Road reported someone entered their vehicle in the parking lot and stole a Garmin GPS and a telephone charger worth $35 at 6:19 p.m. on Dec. 28.
CAR BURGLARY
Someone stole $4,000 worth of items from an unlocked car in the 4100 block of Cove Lane, a resident reported at 5:10 p.m. on Dec. 28.
BURGLARY
Someone stole a a mink coat, a camera and electronic equipment worth more than $3,000 from a storage unit in the 700 block of Milwaukee Avenue, a customer reported at 3:31 p.m. on Dec. 30.
CAR BURGLARY
Someone stole $40 in cash from an unlocked car in the 1000 block of Church Street, a resident reported at 5:46 p.m. on Dec. 30.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY
Someone broke into a business in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Avenue and stole money, an employee reported at 5:51 a.m. on Dec. 31. The reported loss was $750.
BATTERY
A customer in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported a fight in the second floor hallway of an unspecified business at 8:35 p.m. on Jan. 1.
TELEPHONE HARASSMENT
A resident in the 4100 block of Cove Lane reported receiving a threatening telephone call at 9:08 p.m. on Jan. 1.
ARRESTS/CITATIONS
A 55-year-old Forest Park man was arrested at 1:12 a.m. on Dec. 25 in the 9700 block of Milwaukee Avenue on a River Forest Police Department warrant issued for failure to appear in connection with a criminal trespassing charge. He was turned over to the River Forest Police Department.
Nicholas Lykins, 21, of the 400 Ridge Road, Wilmette was arrested at 12:43 p.m. on Dec. 27 and charged with domestic battery in the 1800 block of Chestnut Avenue.
Sora Shin, 46, of the 300 block of Evergreen Circle in Gilberts, was arrested at 5:40 p.m. on Dec. 27 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following an investigation into a traffic crash in the 1200 block of Glenview Road. She was also ticketed for with driving while using an electronic device, without insurance, using lanes improperly and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Brian Spisak, 49, of the 3200 block of Coral Lane, Glenview was arrested at 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 28 and charged with domestic battery at his home
A 23-year-old Des Plaines man was arrested at 10:05 p.m. on Dec. 30 and charged with leaving the scene of an accident after police said he hit the curb and slid into the snow and caused extensive damage to a car and left the scene before police showed up.
Tumenbayar Bat, 22, of the 1400 block of Elmhurst Road, Mount Prospect was arrested at 1:27 a.m. on Dec. 31 and charged with driving under the influence, with a blood alcohol concentration above 0.08 after he was found sleeping behind the wheel of his car in the 1400 block of Greenwood Road.
A 52-year-old Wilmette man was arrested at 7:19 p.m. on Dec. 31 and charged with driving on a suspended license. He was also ticketed for speeding between 21 and 25 mph over the limit.
A 25-year-old Indianapolis woman was arrested at 12:19 a.m. on Jan. 1 and charged with driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop in the 1900 block of East Lake Avenue. She was also ticketed for improper lane usage.
