• $8.15M Land Purchase Moves South Glenview Flood-Control Project Forward (patch.com) — A major flood-control project for South Glenview just took a big step forward with an $8.15 million land purchase for a new stormwater detention basin near Dee Road and Central Avenue. The Central Road Flood Control Project aims to protect about 130 homes and keep key streets like Central and Dearlove open during heavy storms, with construction design and environmental work now moving ahead.
