Lifeguard Exposes Self To Children At Glenview Park Center: Police
The Des Plaines resident is accused of exposing himself to minors on two separate occasions in January, according to police.

GLENVIEW, IL — A former employee of the Glenview Park District is accused of exposing himself to children on two separate occasions in January while he was working as a lifeguard at the Glenview Park Center. Zachary Cortes, 24, of the 9800 block of Bianco Terrace, Des Plaines, was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a child and two counts of disorderly conduct.
Cortes was released and assigned a court date on March 14.
According to police, a parent reported on Jan. 5 someone had exposed himself to their child at the Glenview Park Center. The case was immediately assigned to Glenview detectives.

On Saturday, while police attempted to identify the offender, they responded to a call from a Glenview Park District employee who said Cortes exposed himself to their child while working as a lifeguard at the Glenview Park Center. Cortes was taken into custody and during a subsequent investigation, it was determined Cortes was the same suspect in the previous incident.
Glenview Park District officials told police Cortes was no longer an employee.

Police said they conducted the investigation with assistance from the Glenview Park District, Children's Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County, and the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.
