PEER Services provides community-based substance use prevention and treatment services to teens, adults and families in Northern Cook County, including Evanston, Maine, New Trier, Niles and Northfield Townships, and the north side of Chicago. PEER Services reduces the harms of substance use, addiction and stigma by engaging youth and adults with innovative prevention programming and by supporting people on their path to recovery through holistic, evidence-based treatment. We provide affirming services to all in need, regardless of their ability to pay. GLENVIEW, IL — FLX Move, the recently named 2025 Skokie Business of the Year, is bringing the party to its newest location in Glenview. On Thursday, May 14, the studio will host a "Disco Style Girls' Night Out" from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
The event promises an evening of music, movement, and community support. A live DJ will provide the soundtrack for a disco-themed dance floor, complete with a classic spinning disco ball under the studio rafters.
Beyond the dancing, the event serves as a community drive. Attendees are asked to bring a women’s personal care item for entry, with all donations going to local support organizations.
"We wanted to create an event that celebrates our new Glenview home while giving back to the community that has supported us so much," says founder Andrea Metcalf.
The evening is BYOB, and guests can enjoy complimentary snacks provided by Lazy Dog Cafe in Northbrook. Whether you are a long-time Pilates regular or a neighbor looking to see the new space, all women are welcome to join the fun.
