Man Threatens To Kill Construction Crew For Making Noise: Blotter

GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department as a record of police activity and includes both incidents reported by the public and arrests made by police. Criminal charges, which are often dropped or reduced, represent merely accusations. Everyone arrested is innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in court.
INCIDENTS
ASSAULT
A construction worker in the 1700 block of Grove Street reported at 1:47 p.m. on April 10 that a man walked up and started yelling, saying the work crew were making too much noise and claiming he would get “something” from his house and “kill everyone.”

THEFT
An employee at a store in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported at 3:32 p.m. on April 10 that someone had stolen a container of hand cream worth $25.
DISPUTE
An employee in the 1600 block Milwaukee Avenue reported at 3:23 p.m. on April 10 that they were having an argument with a contractor over an elevator repair bill.

THEFT
A resident in the 300 block of Spruce Street reported at 11:45 a.m. on April 11 that someone stole $800 worth of jewelry from their home.
RECKLESS DRIVING
A resident in the 2400 block of Waukegan Road called the police at 1:38 p.m. on April 11 to report that a car had been speeding outside of their home.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
An employee in the 2100 block of Willow Road reported shortly before 9 p.m. on April 11 that someone had ordered a drink through the drive up and was “using a telephone to record them.”
ELECTRONIC HARASSMENT
A resident in the 900 block of Glenview Road reported at 8:10 a.m. on April 12 that they had been receiving unwanted text messages.
BURGLARY
A resident in the 3100 block of Thornwood Avenue reported at 2:52 p.m. on April 12 that someoen stole golf equipment and cash worth a combined $450 from an unlocked car that had been parked in a driveway.
DISPUTE
A resident in the 1700 block of Jefferson Avenue reported at 6:38 p.m. on April 12 that someone improperly disposed of lawn waste.
TRESPASSING/LITTERING
A resident in the 1700 block of Jefferson Avenue reported at 12:40 p.m. on April 13 that someone had left empty bottles of alcohol on their property.
FRAUD
A resident in the 2500 block of Waterview Drive reported at 10:10 a.m. April 14 that they had received a fraudulent check in the mail for a reported loss of $3,800.
THEFT
An employee in the 1700 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 1:06 p.m. on April 14 that $650 worth of cash and “charges” were missing from the business.
THEFT
An employee in the 100 block of Waukegan Road reported shortly before 7 p.m. on April 14 that someone removed several bottles of alcohol worth $90 from the store shelf and left the store without paying.
ELECTRONIC HARASSMENT
An employee in the 1800 block of Johns Drive reported receiving unwanted text messages prior to 3 p.m. on April 15.
BATTERY
A customer in the 2700 block of Pfingsten Road reported at 3:22 p.m. on April 15 that someone had touched them in an insulting or provocative manner.
BURGLARY
A resident in the 1700 block of Greenwood Road reported shortly before noon on April 16 that someone stole a purse from their unlocked car for a loss of $350.
TRESPASSING
An employee in the 2100 block of Pfingsten Road reported at 1:49 p.m. on April 16 that someone had entered the business and provided a false name in an attempt to get a prescription drug.
IDENTITY THEFT
A resident in the 700 block of Woodmere Lane reported shortly before 8 p.m. on April 16 that someone had used their personal information to open an unauthorized credit card and tried to buy electronics.
ARRESTS
Tania Godinez-Solorio, 25, of the 900 block of Longford Road in Bartlett, was arrested at 9:28 p.m. on April 10 in the 4500 block of West Lake Avenue and charged with domestic battery.
Bryton Kabak, 23, of the 600 block of Pine Street in Wilmette, was arrested at 9:35 p.m. on April 10 on an active arrest warrant issued by the Skokie police following a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Waukegan Road. He was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license, operating an uninsured vehicle, registration suspended for no insurance, obstructing identification and resisting arrest. Kabak was also tickceted for failure to signal when required.
A 38-year-old Chicago man was arrested at 2:33 a.m. on April 11 following a traffic stop in the 2400 block of East Lake Avenue and charged with driving with a suspended license.
A 42-year-old Northbrook man was arrested at 9:22 p.m. on April 12 following a traffic stop in the 3300 block of Willow Road and charged with driving with a suspended license.
Doug Nelson, 52, 924 Arbor Lane, Glenview, was arrested at 1:27 a.m. on April 14 and charged with domestic battery in the block of his residence.
A 41-year-old Niles man was arrested at 8:12 p.m. on April 15 and charged with driving with no valid driver’s license following a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Willow Road.
