ARRESTS

DRIVING WITH A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

  • Kristine M. Taylor, 33, of the 2100 block of Hassell Road, Hoffman Estates, is accused of driving with a suspended driver's license, suspended registration, possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis, and had a warrant out of DuPage County, when arrested at 10:52 p.m. April 9, in the 3200 block of Sanders Road. Taylor was released after posting a $3,000 bond and was assigned a court date of May 24.
  • Andrei Lupu, 23, of the 9000 block of Federal Court, Des Plaines, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested at 2:09 p.m. April 4, in the 600 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was released on bond and was assigned a court date of May 10.

BURGLARY

Gerald Hacker, 41, of the 500 block of Cherry Lane, is accused of burglary, impersonating a police officer, aggravated assault, possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested at 10:40 p.m. April 9, in the 4500 block of West Lake Avenue. WARRANTS ARREST

Amantae Dangerfield, 24, of Glenview, had two outstanding warrant out of Champaign County for failure to appear, one outstanding warrant out of Macon County for domestic battery, and was arrested at 10:11 a.m. April 7, in Glenview. Dangerfield was held at the Glenview Police Department and turned over to Macon County for processing.

INCIDENTS

REVOKED DRIVER'S LICENSE

A Chicago resident was cited at 1:37 p.m. April 4, for driving on a revoked license, unlawful possession of cannabis by driver, loud muffler, no seat belt, operating a vehicle while using a communication device, in the 9700 block of Milwaukee Avenue. They were released on bond and assigned a court date of May 10.

SPEEDING

A Des Plaines resident was cited at 9:28 a.m. April 5, for speeding 26 mph over the speed limit in the 4600 block of West Lake Avenue. They were released on an I-Bond and assigned a court date of May 10.

IDENTITY THEFT

  • A Glenview resident reported at 8:06 a.m. April 5, someone used their identifying information to open a Wells Fargo checking account.
  • A Glenview resident called police at 2:36 p.m. April 5, to report someone used their identifying information to open a FedEx account.
  • A Glenview resident reported that in January, someone withdrew $800 from their Chase account at a Chase bank branch in Downers Grove.
  • A Glenview resident called police at 5:32 p.m. April 7, to report someone e-mailed them requesting $800 worth of Apple gift cards. The unknown suspect requested they download an application and enter credit card information and Amazon account information onto the application.
  • A Glenview resident reported at 8:50 a.m. April 8, the Internal Revenue Service denied their tax return because an unknown offender already filed a tax return using their identifying information.
  • A Glenview resident called police at 2:13 p.m. April 11, to report someone accessed their Chase Bank account and withdrew $6,500.
  • A Glenview resident reported at 2:59 p.m. April 11, someone used their identifying information to purchase a vehicle at a car dealership in Georgia.

THEFT

  • A Wheeling resident called police at 7:16 a.m. April 6, to report their wallet was stolen from an unlocked locker at a business in the 3800 block of Willow Road.
  • A Northbrook resident reported at 7:25 a.m. April 6, multiple items were stolen from a locker at a business in the 3800 block of Willow Road.

SOLICITING

A Chicago resident was cited at 3:21 p.m. April 6, for soliciting without a permit following an incident in the 1600 block of Waukegan Road.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

A Glenview resident reported that between November 2021 and April someone stole a box, containing tax papers, from their garage in the 1400 block of Estate Lane.

ELECTRONIC TRACKING DEVICES PROHIBITED

A Glenview resident called police at 3:19 p.m. April 10, to report someone placed an Apple AirTag inside the trunk compartment of their vehicle. They received a notification on their iPhone that an AirTag was moving with them.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

  • A Glenview resident reported that during the overnight hours of April 11, someone broke the rear windshield of their vehicle while it was parked in the 1700 block of Greenwood Road.
  • A Glenview resident called police at 2:16 p.m. April 11, to report during the overnight hours, someone broke the front windshield on their vehicle while it was parked in the 1600 block of Greenwood Road.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY

A Glenview resident called police at 3:18 a.m. April 11, to report someone damaged the rear sliding door railing and two screen doors at their residence in the 1000 block of Elmdale Road.
