'Sheriff' Calls Resident Regarding Sex Trafficking Case: Glenview Police Blotter
The caller told the resident they needed to pay $12,000 to avoid prosecution.

- Miguel Luna Santos, 20, of the 1000 block of 10th Street, Northfield, is accused of driving under the influence, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, possession of cannabis by a driver, unlawful transportation of alcohol, and was arrested at 9:12 a.m. March 15, in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road. He was released and assigned a court date of April 13.
- Daniel Templeman, 38, of the 2000 block of Wagner Road, Glenview, is accused of DUI, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 1:50 a.m. March 12, in the 1800 block of Sunset Ridge Road. He was released and assigned a court date of April 13.
FAILURE TO APPEAR
- Anthony Edwards, 25, of the 1300 block of E. Ogden Avenue, Naperville, had a warrant out of DuPage County for failure to appear, and was arrested at 11:34 p.m. March 15, in the 2100 block of Pfingsten Road. He was released and assigned a court date of May 11.
- Odonbaatar Palamdorj, 47, of the 4200 block Central Road, Glenview, had a warrant out of Cook County for failure to appear, and was arrested at 3:50 a.m. March 12, in the 2100 block of Pfingsten Road. He was held in custody pending a conditions hearing on the same day.

A Cove Lane resident reported at 2:49 p.m. March 10, they had been leaving voicemails for ads they found on a friend finder website. They later received a phone call from a male who claimed to be with the Cook County Sheriff's Office, with the phone
number showing correctly on caller ID. The male told them that they were investigating sex
trafficking and would have to pay $12,000 to avoid prosecution. The resident did not send any money.
THEFT
- A Goldenrod Lane resident reported at 3:28 p.m. March 10, receiving a message on their computer that there were fraudulent transactions on their Apple account and to call a phone number, which they complied. Through multiple calls, a male told them to go to CVS and Walmart to buy four $500 gift cards, which they did and then sent the codes to the male. Total loss is $2,000.
- A trust company reported at 6:42 p.m. March 13, someone had gained access to a resident's checking account and had used the money to pay down credit card debt belonging to someone else. Total loss is $72,358.85.
- Employees of a business in the 2000 block of Tower Drive reported on March 16, two people had eaten at the business the prior day at 1:14 p.m. and left without paying their $68 bill.
