Hakim Muhammad, 20, of the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue, Glenview, is accused of theft of a stolen bicycle in the 3800 block of West Lake Avenue, and he was arrested at 10 a.m. Aug. 21 in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was released on a $1,000 bond and assigned a court date of Sept. 25.

UNLAWFUL USE OF A WEAPON

Ernest Sobjack, 76, of the 1600 block of Waukegan Road, Glenview, is accused of unlawful use of a weapon/carrying a firearm on person after a disturbance complaint, and was arrested at 9:43 p.m. Aug. 22 in the 1600 block of Waukegan Road. He was released on a $1,000 bond and assigned a court date of Sept. 16.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Tewayne Kennedy, 24, of the 200 block of Niles, is accused of residential burglary, four counts of attempted residential burglary, and was arrested at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 24 following a resident's complaint that someone was in their home in the 1000 block of Ironwood Lane. Kennedy was scheduled to attend a bond hearing on Aug. 24.

POSSESSION OF A STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE

Brande Kizzee, 44, of the 1800 block of Lamar Avenue, Mt. Vernon, is accused of possession of a stolen motor vehicle after a complaint of a trespass in the 2100 block of Tuscanny Court, and was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 24 at that location. She was scheduled to appear for a bond hearing on Aug. 25.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Christian Garcia, 28, of the 2100 block of Dewey Avenue, Evanston, is accused of disorderly conduct after a traffic complaint, and was arrested at 8:40 p.m. Aug. 24 in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was released on a $1,000 bond and assigned a court date of Sept. 30.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL

Briget Sanfilippo, 59, of the 900 block of Wagner Road, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 8:05 p.m. Aug. 25 after a complaint of an intoxicated motorist in the 3300 block of Glenview Road. She was released on a $1,000 bond and assigned a court date of Sept. 30.

ASSAULT

An employee of a business in the 300 block of Nordica Avenue reported at 10:13 a.m. Aug. 18 someone threw a television remote at them.

AGGRAVATED IDENTITY THEFT

  • A Highland Terrace resident called police at 1:26 p.m. Aug. 18 to report receiving a Key Bank debit card for unemployment benefits from the Illinois Department of Employment Security and never applied for unemployment. There is no reported loss.
  • A Glenview Road resident reported at 4:06 p.m. Aug. 20 receiving an alert from a credit monitoring service indicating someone applied for a loan using their personal information. There is no reported loss.
  • A Springdale resident called police at 12:55 p.m. Aug. 21 to report receiving a letter in the mail from Illinois Department of Employment Security stating unemployment benefit checks that will be deposited into their account. There was never an application for benefits from the resident. There is no reported loss.

THEFT

  • A resident in the 2800 block of Wildflower Court reported at 4:52 p.m. Aug. 18 receiving a telephone call from a man who identified himself as a grandson who said he was in a crash and needed money to stay out of legal trouble. The reported loss is over $3,000.
  • A guest in the 3800 block of Willow Road called police at 4:02 p.m. Aug. 20 to report someone gained access to a locker and stole money from inside. The reported loss is $300.
  • A resident in the 1900 block of Robincrest Lane reported at 7:18 p.m. Aug. 20 jewelry missing from the residence. The reported loss is $5,000.
  • A resident in the 4100 block of Cove Lane called police at 7:54 p.m. Aug. 20 to report receiving notification a package arrived at the building but it was missing when they went to pick it up. The reported loss is $1,900.
  • A resident in the 2000 block of Valley Lo Lane reported at 1:42 p.m. Aug. 22 someone was trying to resell a telephone the resident lost earlier. The reported loss is $1,110.
  • An employee of a business in the 1000 block of Waukegan Road called police at 7:09 p.m. Aug. 22 to report someone took bakery items from a shelf and left without paying. The reported loss is $10.
  • A resident in the 4700 block of West Lake Avenue reported at 11:50 a.m. Aug. 23 sending money for a dog bought online, and they never received the animal. The reported loss is $700.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS

An employee of a business in the 2000 block of Harrison Street called police at 7:54 p.m. Aug. 18 to report three juveniles were on the roof of the school.

BURGLARY

  • A resident in the 1500 block of Meadow Lane reported at 11:40 p.m. Aug. 18 someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked on the driveway during the overnight hours and searched the interior. There is no reported loss.
  • A resident in the 1500 block of Kaywood Lane called police at 3:48 p.m. Aug. 19 to report someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked on the driveway during the overnight hours and searched the interior. There is no reported loss.
  • A resident in the 1300 block of Wagner Road reported at 7:44 p.m. Aug. 19 someone entered two unlocked vehicles parked on the driveway during the overnight hours and took money. The reported loss is $45.
  • A customer of a business in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue called police at 6:01 p.m. Aug. 21 to report two bicycles were stolen from a storage unit. The reported loss is $6,500.
  • A resident in the 1000 block of Ironwood Court reported at 11:59 p.m. Aug. 24 someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked on the driveway during the overnight hours and searched the interior. There is no reported loss.

DECEPTIVE PRACTICE

A resident in the 2500 block of Osage Drive called police at 7:34 p.m. Aug. 18 to report receiving a call from someone claiming to be an employee of social security who said to send money or face a freeze on social security. The reported loss is $1,600.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

An employee of a business in the 3600 block of West Lake Avenue reported at 9 a.m. Aug. 19 another employee made a verbal threat of harm.

UNLAWFUL USE OF A CREDIT CARD

A customer of a business in the 2800 block of Pfingsten Road called police at 3:27 p.m. Aug. 19 to report they inadvertently left a credit card at a restaurant and it was used to make purchases at another restaurant and retail store. The reported loss is $580.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

An employee of a business in the 300 block of Waukegan Road reported at 10:32 p.m. Aug. 19 security cameras recorded an altercation in the parking lot showing a man drive a vehicle at a woman causing damage to a parked vehicle. The amount of loss is unknown.

RETAIL THEFT

An employee of a business in the 2800 block of Pfingsten Road called police at 9:58 a.m. Aug. 20 to report someone took two bottles of vodka and two bottles of bourbon off a shelf and left the store without paying. The reported loss is $195.

ROBBERY

Employees of a business in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road reported at 1:33 p.m. Aug. 20 two men took money from a teller. The amount of loss is unknown.

IDENTITY THEFT

  • A Fir Street resident called police at 2:53 p.m. Aug. 20 to report someone used their Social Security number to open an Illinois small business loan. The reported loss is $9,700.
  • A Terrace Lane resident reported at 4:33 p.m. Aug. 20 receiving a USBank ReliaCard for unemployment benefits, and they never applied for benefits. There is no reported loss.
  • A Waterview Drive resident in the 2500 block of Waterview Drive called police at 2:35 p.m. Aug. 24 to report their employer said someone applied for unemployment benefits using their personal information. There is no reported loss.

THEFT BY DECEPTION

A Frederic Court resident reported at 3:12 p.m. Aug. 20 receiving a telephone call from someone claiming to be a grandson, and he requested money for medical bills. The reported loss is over $3,000.

BATTERY

An employee of a business in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue called police at 11:28 p.m. Aug. 22 to report multiple people fighting in the parking lot.
