Thousands Stolen In Home Burglaries: Glenview Crimes
Glenview Police Blotter: Oct. 24 - Oct. 30

GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department as a record of police activity and includes both incidents reported by the public and arrests made by police. Readers are reminded that an arrest is not an indicator of guilt and criminal charges represent merely accusations. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
INCIDENTS
CAR BURGLARY
On Oct. 22 at 11:39 a.m., a resident in the 900 block of Indian Road reported someone entered two unlocked vehicles on their driveway and rummaged through their interior, but nothing was immediately reported missing.

CAR BURGLARY
On Oct. 22 at 12:02 p.m., a resident in the 900 block of Echo Lane reported someone entered two unlocked vehicles and took $350 worth of personal property from inside.
CAR BURGLARY
On Oct. 22 at 12:46 p.m., a resident in the 900 block of Echo Lane reported someone entered an unlocked vehicle and searched through its glove box, but there was nothing reported missing.

CAR BURGLARY
On Oct. 22 at 5:12 p.m., a resident in the 600 block of Indian Road reported someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole $180 worth of property and cash from inside.
FORGERY
On Oct. 24 at 1:49 p.m., a resident in the 1900 block of Chestnut Avenue reported someone forged a $200 check and cashed it.
ELECTRONIC HARASSMENT
On Oct. 24 at 2:43 p.m., a resident in the 1600 block of Winnetka Road reported receiving unwanted text messages.
DISTURBANCE
On Oct. 24 at 5:20 p.m., an employee in the 2100 block of Pfingsten Road reported a customer was being belligerent and unruly.
UNWANTED SUBJECT
On Oct. 24 at 7:10 p.m., an employee in the 1800 block of Landwehr Road reported a student was acting belligerent in the lunchroom.
SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT
On Oct. 24 at 9:38 p.m., a resident in the 1600 block of Blackthorn Drive reported someone was yelling and pounding on the front door.
THEFT
On Oct. 25 at 8:59 a.m., a contractor working in the 2100 block of Norwich Court reported someone stole $1,100 worth of unsecured lumber from their work site.
DECEPTIVE PRACTICES
On Oct. 25 at 9:58 a.m., an employee in the 2800 block of Pfingsten Road reported a customer cashed am $8,000 check that was later returned for insufficient funds.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
On Oct. 25 at 12:09 p.m., an employee in the 2000 block of Chestnut Avenue reported receiving vulgar telephone calls.
THEFT
On Oct. 25 at 3:44 p.m., an employee in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road reported that someone had stolen $2,000 worth of utility services from the property.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
On Oct. 25 at 5:27 p.m., a resident in the 2100 block of Rugen Road reported receiving unwanted telephone and text messages.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
On Oct. 26 at 4:15 p.m., a resident in the 2200 block of Swainwood Drive reported someone entered their home and stole more than $1,000 worth of property from inside.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
On Oct. 26 at 5:47 p.m., a resident in the 1900 block of Central Road reported someone damaged a door, entered the home and stole more than $1,000 worth of property from inside.
THEFT
On Oct. 27 at 12:59 p.m., a guest in the 1500 block of Wagner Road reported that someone stole credit cards from their unlocked vehicle parked on the street. The cards were later used to make several fraudulent purchases.
RETAIL THEFT
On Oct. 27 at 3:31 p.m., an employee in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported someone took $120 worth of clothing from a shelf and left the store without paying.
SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT
On Oct. 27 at 4:30 p.m., a store patron in the 2900 block of Patriot Boulevard reported a man tried to sell him coats from the back of a vehicle.
CAR BURGLARY
On Oct. 28 at 1:25 p.m., a patron at a store in the 3500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported someone entered their car without permission.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
On Oct. 28 at 10:27 p.m., a resident in the 2400 block of Waukegan Road reported someone walked by and kicked their dog.
THEFT OF SERVICES
On Oct. 29 at 6:42 a.m., a taxi driver in the 1900 block of Chestnut Avenue reported a man left the cab and did not pay a $51 fare.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
On Oct. 29 at 10:10 a.m., a resident in the 2200 block of Strawberry Lane reported someone damaged a fence for a reported loss of $50.
THEFT
On Oct. 30 at 11:29 a.m., an employee in the 2200 block of Waukegan Road reported someone stole both registration plates off their vehicle for a reported loss of $48.
IDENTITY THEFT
On Oct. 30 at 4:27 p.m., a resident in the 1500 block of Tulip Tree Court reported someone had used their personal information to rent a truck that had not been returned.
RETAIL THEFT
On Oct. 30 at 5:16 p.m., an employee in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported someone removed $4 worth of merchandise from the shelf and left the store without paying for it.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
On Oct. 30 at 8:38 p.m., a resident in the 1000 block of Gladish Lane reported someone lit a fence on fire, doing a reported $125 damage.
ARRESTS/CITATIONS
Robin Rodrian, 19, of the 1100 block of Wedgewood Lane, Mount Prospect, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after a traffic crash investigation in the 900 block of East Lake Avenue on Oct. 23 at 11 p.m. She was also issued a ticket for failure to yield while turning left.
Rebecca Bailon, 21, of the 3000 block of Sarah Street, Franklin Park, was arrested on Oct. 23 at 9:39 a.m. and charged with battery in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road.
Reda Sahraoui, 43, of the 400 block of North Saint Mary’s Road, Libertyville, was arrested on Oct. 23 at 5:52 p.m. and charged with retail theft in the 1900 block of Tower Drive.
Joseph Weinbender, 51, of the 1800 block of Goodwin Drive, Palatine, was arrested Oct. 24 at 2 p.m. in the 1400 block of Woodlawn Avenue and charged with harassment by electronic communication following an investigation.
A 51-year-old Bellwood man was arrested Oct. 24 at 9:26 a.m. in the 2500 block of East Lake Avenue after a traffic stop and charged with driving with a revoked or suspended license.
Nikola Knezevic, 57, of the 5900 block of North Clark Street, was arrested on Oct. 26 at 2 p.m. at the Glenview Police Department and charged with harassment by electronic communication.
A 46-year-old Chicago woman was arrested Oct. 28 at 8:40 p.m. in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue and charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Noe Jimenez, 28, of the 300 block of 3rd Street, Northfield, was arrested Oct. 30 at 2:57 a.m. in the 2400 block of Waukegan Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration above 0.08 and illegal transportation of alcohol.
