GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department as a record of police activity and includes both incidents reported by the public and arrests made by police. Readers are reminded that an arrest is not an indicator of guilt and criminal charges represent merely accusations. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

BURGLARY
On Oct. 10 at 8:10 a.m., a resident in the 1700 block of George Court reported someone had entered unlocked vehicles that had been parked on the driveway during the overnight hours and stole $1,200 worth of electronic equipment.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS
On Oct. 10 at 8:34 a.m., a resident in the 1700 George Court reported that someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked on the driveway during the overnight hours and rummaged through the glove compartment, leaving its contents strewn about the front seat, without stealing anything.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
On Oct. 10 at 12:14 p.m., a shopper in the 3300 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported someone had used a sharp object to scratch the entire passenger side of their car for a reported loss of $400.
THEFT
On Oct. 10 at 12:16 p.m., a shopper in the 2800 block of Patriot Boulevard reported having left an iPhone unattended in a store while shopping. When the person returned to retrieve it, the phone had been taken for a loss of $300.
RETAIL THEFT
On Oct. 10 at 5:08 p.m., an employee in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road reported that someone had filled up a shopping basket with $500 worth of electronics and then run out of the store without paying for the items.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
On Oct. 11 at 12:16 p.m., a resident in the 2000 block of Fir Street reported that someone had kicked open a door to the residence and stole silver flatware for a reported loss of $2,500.
THEFT
On Oct. 12 at 12:47 a.m., a renter in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported that someone had stolen a wallet and telephone from inside a car at a business for a reported loss of $800.
DECEPTIVE PRACTICES
On Oct. 12 at 6:50 p.m., an employee in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road reported someone purchased merchandise with a counterfeit $100 bill.
BURGLARY
On Oct. 13 at 6:45 a.m., a resident of the 2300 block of Mohawk Lane reported someone entered their unlocked car and stole a wallet while it was parked on a driveway for a loss of $300.
TELEPHONE HARASSMENT
On Oct. 13 at 9:20 a.m., a resident of the 1000 block of Elm Street reported having received unwanted telephone calls.
RETAIL THEFT
On Oct. 14 at 12:17 p.m., an employee in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road reported someone loaded up several bags with $600 worth of Nexium and baby formula and left the store without paying for anything.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
On Oct. 14 at 5:38 p.m., an employee in the 1500 block of Wagner Road reported several protesters entered the kitchen of the main building several hours earlier without permission.
BATTERY
On Oct. 15 at 1:12 a.m., a passing motorist reported seeing fight in the street between two men in the 1800 block of Prairie Street.
RETAIL THEFT
On Oct. 15 at 12:25 p.m., an employee in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported someone took $115 worth of jewelry and clothing and left the store without paying.
RETAIL THEFT
On Oct. 15 at 3:41 p.m., an employee in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported someone ran out of the store without paying for thirteen windbreakers for a reported loss of $1,300.
TELEPHONE HARASSMENT
On Oct. 15 at 4:22 p.m., a resident in the 2000 block of Linneman Street reported someone called pretending to be a grandson and claiming to have been in a car crash and in need of cash. The resident didn't fall for it and there was no reported loss.
THEFT
On Oct. 16 at 12:33 a.m., a resident in the 2400 block of Waukegan Road reported someone bought a vehicle with three counterfeit $100 bills.
THEFT
On Oct. 16 at 1043 hours, an employee in the 1500 block of Waukegan Road reported someone took 60 pallets worth $2,400 from a storage area.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
On Oct. 16 at 3:25 p.m., a resident in the 1000 block of Bette Lane reported someone entered their backyard and asked about cutting some trees down. Later, a patio window was found open and jewelry and documents were discovered to be missing for a reported loss of $1,000.
DECEPTIVE PRACTICES
On Oct. 16 at 2:34 p.m., an employee in the 100 block of Waukegan Road reported someone bought items using two counterfeit $20 bills.
RETAIL THEFT
On Oct. 16 at 4:44 p.m., an employee in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported someone left the store without paying for $80 worth of merchandise.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
On Oct. 16 at 6:03 p.m., a resident in the 3600 block of Liberty Lane reported someone knocked over a mailbox, causing $100 in damage.
ARRESTS/CITATIONS
Tyler Kilpatrick, 28, of the 1800 block of George Court, was arrested at his home on Oct. 10 at 6:21 p.m. and charged with theft. Police did not say what he is accused of stealing or from whom.
Daniel Murillo, 19, of the 1800 block of Kensington Road in Mount Prospect, was arrested Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. in the 2700 block of Pfingsten Road and charged with theft "after an investigation." Police did not say what he is accused of stealing or from whom.
A 42-year-old Northfield man was arrested after a traffic crash in the 2000 block of Waukegan Road shortly before 2 p.m. on Oct. 11. and charged with no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to secure load.
A 54-year-old Skokie man was arrested Oct. 12 at 7:20 p.m. and charged with driving with suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle after a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Pfingsten Road.
A 20-year-old Des Plaines woman was arrested Oct. 13 at 9:05 a.m. in the 3200 block of West Lake Avenue and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give air or information and improper backing after an investigation into a traffic crash.
Michael Rockoff, 69, of the 0-100 block of Avon Road in Northbrook, was arrested Oct. 13 at 12:54 p.m. in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue on a bond forfeiture warrant issued by Wheeling for allegedly driving under the influence.
A 56-year-old Niles man was arrested Oct. 14 at 1:34 a.m. and charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license, displaying a suspended driver’s license, operating an uninsured vehicle and speeding 60 mph in a 45 mph zone after a traffic stop in the 2600 block of East Lake Avenue.
