2016 Lake County Fair Features Local Musical Acts
Illinois 2016 Lake County Fair runs Wed. July 27 through Sun. July 31, featuring three musical acts of note
Three musical acts of note can be found at the Illinois Lake County Fair. To kick off the Fair at the Festival Square on Wed. July 27, 5:30-7:30 pm, Svelte Bobby and the Soulfixers will perform classic blues tunes and share Chicago style blues originals off their album, due out in 2017. Svelte Bobby said, “Always a pleasure to play at the Lake County Fair.” Bass player Jim Geske, a Grayslake D46 teacher, commented, “I love the Lake County Fair – awesome place to be. A lot of people, a lot of fun!”
GNHS Pirate Choir will be found hither and yon at the fair on Sat. July 30, regaling fair goers with sea songs from 2-4 pm. On Sun. July 31, Slam Funk, Grayslake North High School’s Motown group, will perform at the West Beer Garden from 1:30-3:30 pm.

Daily admission is $10 (13 and older), $5 for active military/veterans, seniors 65+and children ages 6-12 while a family pass (2 adult and 2 children) is $25 for the day.
