April 30th Day to Pray for Lake County's Children

The Faith Committee of Lake County’s Domestic Violence council is urging all institutions of faith to participate in Blue Sunday. Always held the last Sunday of National Child Abuse Prevention Month (April), Blue Sunday seeks to bring awareness to the plight of abused children. A very simple way to participate is to simply pray for children of Lake County and the nation on Sunday, April 30th, during your worship service. Residents of Lake County can also express their support by displaying a Blue Kids sign on their property, showing support for the Blue Kids campaign, Lake County’s child abuse awareness initiative.
