Brewster third at AAU Nationals

Our project is to archive old Grayslake Review and Daily Herald articles that featured Grayslake athletes.

Grayslake's Will Brewster is a runner on the fast track.

The Woodland Middle School eighth-grader placed third in the boys sub youth division at the AAU National Junior Cross-Country Championships on Saturday at Virginia Beach, Va.

In a field of 137 runners, Brewster finished the 2.5 mile race in 13:23.3 to earn AAU All-American honors.

He runs for the Belvidere Tornados, which took second in the team standings.
