Volunteering Opportunity: Help Build a Playground

Volunteer opportunity to help A Safe Place build a playground in Zion on Saturday, July 23rd, 2016

A Safe Place, the Chicago Bears and the family of Gene Minsky are seeking volunteers to help construct a playground at A Safe Place's Zion Campus on Saturday, July 23rd. Work alongside community members and the Cunningham Company to help build a playground for the children who are living at A Safe Place's Permanent Living Facility. Volunteers can sign up for 4-hour shifts throughout the day to build the playground and surrounding area- experts will be on-site to guide volunteers through the building process, no expertise or experience necessary.

The new playground will provide the children living at A Safe Place with a safe, fun place to play. Currently, the children who reside at the Permanent Living Facility do not have a playground to enjoy. To sign up for a volunteer shift, please visit http://goo.gl/forms/gvnI4T0o8aS82apN2 or contact Marissa Gray at MGray@asafeplaceforhelp.org or 847-731-7165 x 103
