County Board Member Chuck Bartels Announces Campaign Chairs

Mary Bowes Fitzgibbons and Charles Hall to Spearhead Re-Election Campaign

Republican Lake County Board Member Chuck Bartels proudly announces his 2018 re-election campaign team co-chairs.

Mary Bowes Fitzgibbons
A life-long resident of Mundelein, Mary Bowes Fitzgibbons earned her degree in Spanish and was a teacher at Santa Maria del Popolo and Carmel Catholic High School. She now works in the Bowes family businesses in Mundelein - Emil's and Crossroads – and Grayslake. Fitzgibbons said she has known Bartels for over 25 years, since he chaired the Carmel 2000 Capital Campaign. “Chuck Bartels has led volunteer initiatives and organizations throughout Lake County. He works to do more with less through collaboration. He'll continue to serve constituents with that same sense of fiscal responsibility when re-elected.” Fitzgibbons and her husband, Mike, Director of Ministry at Carmel Catholic, have three children.

Chuck Hall
A 10 year resident of Grand Dominion, Chuck Hall has been an enthusiastic volunteer since Bartels' first-ever run for office four years ago. Hall has worked as a Researcher, Marketing and Business Group Leader for DuPont and Siemens in Science and Healthcare. He said, “I support Chuck Bartels and his re-election to the County Board because of his practical experience providing jobs, worker training and business growth.” Hall and his wife, Carol, both dealers in specialty antiques, have two daughters and six grandchildren
“Mary and Chuck have been two truly supportive volunteers since my first run for County Board in 2013-14. Mary withstood frigid early mornings and helped turn every train station event into a coffee and donut “party.” Chuck Hall, my neighbor and friend, was the first to volunteer in 2013 and has continued to support my re-election through rain and snow with his energy, time and wise advice."
