The Grayslake North and Central boys and girls teams will compete at Saturday's Grant- hosted JT Invite at Camp Henry Horner at Inglside.

The Knights won the event when they had the great Nick Lane. Now head coach Brandon Boyd is hoping the boys and girls will finish in the top half of the standings at an event that will have somewhere in the neightborhood of 16 teams.

"It's fast and a slightly short course, so the kids seem to come out of there with really good times.

It's a really nice place to run," Boyd said.

Peebles is planning to have his team run hills today in order to prepare for the elevation at Camp Henry Horner.
