Dr. Tina Fabiano Joins Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Midwestern Regional Medical Center

New Quality of Life Physician at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) at Midwestern Regional Medical Center (Midwestern)

Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) at Midwestern Regional Medical Center (Midwestern) is proud to announce that Tina Fabiano, DO, has joined the hospital as a Quality of Life Physician. Dr. Fabiano earned her medical degree from the Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, completed her internship at NorthShore University Health System, an affiliate of The University of Chicago, and her internal medicine residency at Broward Health Medical System in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As a Quality of Life Physician at CTCA®, Dr. Fabiano will offer patients the most appropriate and effective pathway of care, incorporating their values to ensure personalized patient-centric medicine.

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Fabiano to the CTCA team,” said Scott Jones, president and CEO of CTCA at Midwestern. “Dr. Fabiano’s medical background, dedication to patient education, and commitment to providing each patient with a personalized approach make her an excellent addition to the team.”

In addition to her medical expertise and experience, Dr. Fabiano has a personal connection to cancer. Dr. Fabiano’s grandfather passed away from advanced liver cancer, which was initially misdiagnosed during her third year of medical school. This experience fueled her desire to care for others like they were her own family.

“I’ve dreamed of being a doctor since childhood,” said Dr. Fabiano. “That enthusiasm has only grown as my knowledge and experience has increased. At CTCA, I look forward to providing a comprehensive approach to cancer treatment, through a collaborative effort, driven by supplying patients with the tools and resources they need to improve their health.”

Prior to joining CTCA at Midwestern, Dr. Fabiano served as a primary care provider for outpatients at a large health care system in Wisconsin from 2014 to 2015. Dr. Fabiano is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Internists.
