Goddard Schools Donate over 200,000 Books to At-Risk Children

The Goddard School located in Third Lake (Grayslake/Gurnee), and all the Chicagoland Goddard Schools just completed their seventh Book Drive for Bernie's Book Bank (https://www.berniesbookbank.org/), whose mission is to, "…significantly increase book ownership among at-risk infants, toddlers, and school-age children throughout Chicagoland."

The Chicagoland Goddard Schools have donated over 211,000 children's Books to Bernie's Book Bank over the past 7 years, with the Goddard School located at 34638 N US Hwy 45, Third Lake, contributing more then 25,000 books to that total.

David Raye, Owner of The Goddard School in Third Lake and current Bernie's Book Bank Board Member said, "We are so blessed to have families that are so generous in supporting our efforts to combat the literacy imbalance that exists right here in Lake County and beyond."
