Grayslake Arts Alliance Awarded Grant

The Village of Grayslake offered a $2,000 Community Involvement Grant to anyone to make Grayslake a better community. The village awarded a grant to the Grayslake Arts Alliance as part of a first-ever program, and GAA purchased 2 weatherproof display cases to showcase a rotating group of artists' work.

Come out and support the unveiling of the cases on Saturday, October 5 at 4:00 pm (Rain date: Friday, October 11) in Centennial Park, at the corner of Center and Whitney Streets. The GAA will be joined by Grayslake Village officials as they present the Grayslake Artist Showcase and the Community Arts Message Board.

The mission of the GAA is to nurture and support awareness and appreciation of the arts in the village of Grayslake through education, outreach, and development. Please visit their website for more information.
