LeBaron, Black lead way as Central wins own soccer tourney

The hosts rattled off three straight victories to capture the Grayslake Central Tournament title last week.

Megan LeBaron and Allie Black each posted a goal and an assist as the Rams sealed the first place finish with a 5-1 win over Grant last Thursday.

Allison Mitchell, Skyler Jessop and Hannah Risinger also scored while Melissa Kuehl, Kat Dickson and Emily Schrader added assists for Central (3-2).

The Rams, who added a 2-1 win over Grayslake North April 1, host Woodstock at 6:30 p.m. today and Antioch at noon Saturday.
