Map: Halloween Events, Festivals Worth Checking Out Near Grayslake

LAKE AND MCHENRY COUNTIES, IL — With Halloween falling on a Monday this year, several communities will be hosting events and festivals to recognize the holiday this upcoming weekend.

From trunk or treats to family-friendly haunted trails to pumpkin smash events, we've got a round up of events worth checking out in the coming days below. Click on the blue markers to find out more.

We've also got a roundup of great pumpkin patches and corn mazes worth visiting in the area — many of which will remain open through Halloween — as well as a list of Haunted yards worth driving or walking by before their owners take their spooky display decorations down.
