ANNOUNCES PURPLESTRIDE CHICAGO ON SATURDAY, APRIL 30 AT JACKSON PARK
WHAT: The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, the nation’s leading organization creating hope in a

The walk/run through Jackson Park will raise awareness for the third leading cause of cancer-
related death in the U.S. and raise much needed funds to support pancreatic cancer research
efforts.
PurpleStride Chicago is one of 50 PurpleStride events taking place nationally. The millions of
dollars raised will be directed to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Funds raised help
